In black it reminds me of a F1 JPS Lotus. They were nice but on a Boxster I'm not sure.tjb said:Not sure about the style of those wheels, also the gold coloured additions are a bit marmite.
But, if it helps Porsche stay profitable and produce cars I do want to buy, great. There are loads of things in this world that I don't understand and the car buying market is probably one of them.
(I'm not usually this grumpy, just blame in on cabin fever)
Looking at it in GT Silver with the red hood and black interior it looks great, certainly grew on me over the course of an hour or so. It also appears that production of UK orders was suspended in November due to concerns over the Brexit ādeal/no dealā which means my original April delivery for the GTS is now pushed back to later in the year. Given the production run schedule for the Boxster 25 Iām told it is therefore likely to arrive before my original GTS order. Residuals and resale on limited editions is also a plus point in its favour, so given the same entry point price (once the configuration has done its work) it makes sense on a number of levels to opt for this special edition.

Silver trim would of looked far more classic. I asked to be considered for a 25th if there was going to be such a thing back in October. After seeing it I decided not to bother and cancelled within 24 hours. So if it is a collectors item then I have missed the boat.

In the great scale of things of things this if years taught us anything cars are a small thing in life I can't see any cars becoming a Classic any more yes some more desirable than others.
But with Petrol and Diesel only going up to the year 2030 I am afraid for an older petrol head person my days are numbered.
Both our Porsches have been redundant this year not turning a wheel what a waste.
I will run petrol as long as possible but sorry electric does not appeal to me at all sorry.
No more petrol is the day I stop driving.
Good luck to anyone in the market for the Boxster 25th Anniversary enjoy them while you can if possible. []

Fear not Cliff. I'm sure we will have better times soon[] We'll be out on the road running up and down the country to join friends at events and the
good times will return. I'm with you, I ain't buying no tram[&o] Just listen to these two, I do before setting off to any event. Number one when you start your car and let her warm up before getting in the saddle and setting off, and number two when you select a gear and start your trip.

Now that's made me feel better and I haven't even left me little office. Hope it does the same for you[]
simple to wash cars and esp wheels are to be applauded imho.
as to 2030..
Things change, and ev design will be fantastic by then, but that year only means you can't buy a new one, so used nice charismatic cars will become desirable co2 or not.
The new French tax on co2 emitting cars is eye watering and will accelerate the demise of the performance car in France, and sure to spread, more big tax for a Government!
When we can, use these cars, get out to places and add miles, lots of photos and keep them for 2031 onwards.
