2013 Porsche club Championship

Paul, I have followed your advice and started a topic on the MOTORSPORT section about the 2013 regulations, weights etc. It remains to be seen if there is interest in making the series more fair for all - or if indeed the general apathy about the issues is possibly one of the reasons that such errors and mistakes have been allowed to creep in to the Championship regulations. Baz

....... or more simply forum users just don't use that section as their main allegiance is the car model. Time will tell.....

Mr K Have been going over my inboard footage and finding loads of places to improve. I have edited the start of race 2 at Silverstone and shows you practicing your pirouetting, your getting realy good at that, I think you were avoiding the Boxster that later hit me (that’s racing) Looking forward to next season and my new “lighter weight” http://youtu.be/NxWqwZqTNeQ

Hello[:)] Yup things were going swimmingly well, but the car you mentioned was drifting towards me and I had to take evasive action to avoid contact[] Managed a sort of recovery, later in that race I had to dive off again!!That race will be remembered to me as my Kylie race!(spinning around)[:D] Heres to 2013![:D]

Just spotted that the last 2 races of our Championship at Silverstone in September are now uploaded ........ it was broadcast on MOTORS TV a few weeks back but now the rest of us can view it. NB Special thanks to Pete Morris of PMC who sponsored this proper video. see it here uploaded in 4 parts (the Friday race is not included) http://www.porscheclubmotorsport.co.uk/videos/gallery/cc

My Entry is in,looking forward to first test after my car has had its refreshed bits done[:)]

Spoke to a couple of Class 2 968 pilots today, should be a good season, well prepped cars going for it with keen Pilots! With other people I have heard coming out there will be quite a few 968s maybe quite a few more than last year in the class, could be epic!

Provisional dates for 2013 now on Motorsport site: http://www.porscheclubmotorsport.co.uk/news/porsche_club_club_championship_announces_provisional_2013_race_dates What's the latest news on entries for this year? [:)]

I heard this from a fellow racer last week. Do they make a track tyre in 16" sizes? All I know from their corsa tyres are they are super expensive and super unavailable, the 'other' model of tyre is so old its what the championship had in the days before the Michelins. Could really do with some clarity in this area, we are only 2 months from the season kick off and not having a clear position on tyres is not a great advert for the championship.

I had a look on the P Motorsport suppliers website, the only tyres are in 968 sizes are slicks and wets?? If it does go that way there will be changes nessacery to spring rates, sooner we know the better! Sounds like your keen and chomping at the bit Neil! I Can't wait till the first test,a new tyre would add something to the season !
