944 Mileage Poll 2009

I'm delighted to see Beaky in the rather exclusive (3%) group of cars over 200K. Now my shell seat is fitted I have been using him a lot over the last few days and he gives me a massive smile every time I get in him. Not bad for a 20+ year old 200K+ car.

I need to vote again guys, my race shell donor car, just got the MOT and V5 slip in the post, 242K miles :p

Since the shell looked completely rot free and straight showing no signs of ever being crashed I guess that shows that the best way to stop these cars from rusting away is regular use.

The combined mileage of my now 3 front engined cars is circa 566K miles !

My 951 has done 148,000 miles.

Don't know about the engine though - I know it didn't roll out of the factory
with it, other than that I'm in the dark!

Alpine white - mostly - 1983
160K showing but odo wasnot working when I got it and showed 136000 as did the previous 3 MOTs. It was driven as everyday car for those years and I replaced the speedo - so true miles anyones guess! As replacement clock showed 59k my guess is that it is about right!

hiya, my 1990 s2 has done 163000, specialist says she drives like 60,000 not uncommon apparently regards jason p

Mines done a shade over 130k if the clocks are to be believed.. Although going from the pole we have either got rid of all the high milers or they have all been clocked as the average doesn't seem to have moved on from 2003 :D
