coukd you tell me a bit more about the NA heads if you think there ok for me to push 400bhp i have no cat and would feel better if this would t affect my engine heat wise ect , as they are easy to find and as you say, i’m now onto buying my 3rd custom made cometic gasket in only a few years from the states and not becuase it’s failed , just becuase i’ve had the head off twice since the last full engine build!
cheers
Dan

May I ask, did you buy this, if so where, or do you have the files by which I might print one at all please?

Hey Tref, this is the guy I got mine from - seems he may be making them again or someone else may be taking on the project too.
I’ll post up here for completeness but will send you the link via Messenger too so you see it:

Block is done, sleeved, honed, decked and ready to go. Slight delay on the head as one of the Turbo exhaust valves I’d bought wasn’t 100% straight, delayed a couple of days while I got hold of another. +1mm Ferrea valves have been cut in with a multi angle seat job. Some light porting (don’t ask me what, they said things I didn’t understand but know their stuff), new guides, steam vent mod, light skim, etc. They’re building it all back up with the new Isky springs to factory coil bind measurements so I can run a wilder cam with more lift if I choose to in the future.
Had a "Hi Torque” US starter motor turn up today as mine had been rebuilt already but was a bit noisy again - didn’t take a lot of man maths to justify the more powerful one! Also received some silicon moulded hatch pin receivers from a man in the Ukraine and tried not to buy some more wheels (With varying degrees of success).
Should be starting the rebuild in a couple of weeks but I’ve gone in on a Vulcan Cut Ring Head Gasket Group Buy from the States and that won’t be here until late November/early December.
I had mine rebuilt by a local guy in a proper old school back workshop for something daft like £15 in cash. Spins up great but the (Bendix it might be called) that disconnects the starter gear from the starter ring is a bit lazy and it often makes a bit of a screeching sound.
Had been pricing up a Hi Torque replacement from the States and one popped up on UK eBay. Complete overkill on a low compression Turbo rather than an S2 or 968 but I’ve put the rest of the car together with plenty of headroom in the components so why stop now.
Need to get that started and reassembled before I lose bits or forget where they go, starter motors can wait.

Yeah I'll have a look at it, but if as has been suggested the winding may be breaking down, it's probably mullered.

That would be fun.

Yes, but the F stands for something that would be blocked by the swear filter []
That‘s a late NA block I used on my Turbo that’s got knackered bores from the dodgy pistons and my original Twbo S block that has been sleeved and is now smoother than the cream in a Twinky!
