964 RS Values Again!

Jason - thanks for the tip on Alan UK - I shall find out some more sordid details of this car's past.

BTW, "nudger" tag comes from some incidents in Caterham racing a few years back, but suffice to say anticipation of the cost of replacing the nose on the RS will be putting me off those tactics.

Seawise - Adenau spin still painfully fresh in the memory; I will be in full "girl's blouse" mode at the 'Ring.

To go back to the thread around why this car stuck around for a while, IMHO it may have been because Paul had a couple of other cars in stock last year that were lower mileage / slightly more "original". We get these things because we really want one; go into the toyshop with that mindset, see three toys, all of us would probably stretch to buy the nicest one.

Cheers

David

Nugger, are THE david williams of Grads fame? Champion around 2000 for a few years? I've done Grads for the past 4 years.

the very same, hope i'm not breaking confidences....

by the way - if anyone wants a place at the Oulton day tomorrow gratis (maybe a contribution to charity of the day might be appropriate in return) then let me know as i can't make it due work committments.

. But I'm sure they are all like that! Anyway, will know more after the Bookatrack weekend at Spa in a couple of weeks.

Dave, don't forget we are off to the 'ring too - that should be the real test. a) if u can keep up with my 993 rs - b) if u manage not to spin on the exit of Adeneu.....

can't wait.
When are you planning Ring trip? Group of us(40) going end of May from around the UK. Some are regulars others for the first time. I think at least 4x 964RS are making the pilgrimage!

h_______ you have made my day. Don't think I have ever been called THE David Williams before. Hope you are enjoying your Grads racing as much as I did. I have messed around with bikes a bit for the last few years (lesson: you fall off and it hurts), and the RS is me getting back into a bit of light track action.

David

People usually do Caterhams once they've fallen off bikes too much. Grads racing is great fun, although I'm planning on doing a little less as I too have the RS to play with now.

SCoM have just brokered a sale on my RHD Coral car at around the price it was previously advertised by Gmund ... so values are definitely holding firm, even for the RHD cars.

It's a very very nice car, but I just wasn't driving it --- 1000 miles last year !

It is a beautiful car Chris BUT...when you also own the 'ultimate weapon'...your Clubsport!!! How can you beat that?

Don't tell me you are making room for more wood Chris?
[:D]

Ps- should have my car back next week so see you at a trackday soon![:)]

Sorry Paul but I'm going to funeral.

No seriously, I'm working bud but hoping to do an evening one at Donny in May I think. Interested?

I see this car as the remote batt cut out switch, discussed in an earlier thread. At least I assume thats what the little red button is.
