991 Owners Cars

I agree - looks like it's worth every penny. I may look at one in the future...nothing to sell though.

My 2013 991.1 C2. Had it since 31st March and really enjoying it. Have had the SportDesign pack fitted including mirrors and ducktail. Seriously thinking of getting new Fuchs wheels fitted...

Hi everyone. I just became a member today so wanted to say hello and introduce myself [:)]

I ordered my first ever Porsche this year so am a complete newbie. I have had the 911.2S since delivery in May and have loved the experience so far, but am desperate to find better trips for my first year of ownership... Some of the pics in this thread are incredible!

I hope to share some of my experiences of the car and answer any questions, but am very much looking forward to learning as much as possible from members on this forum as i am in unknown territory. So many questions but i'll get to them eventually...

Here are some (unclean) pics i took on my first long trip to the country. Have covered 1700 miles to date so it's still breaking in.

We are thinking about doing a trip to Mid Wales in May 2017. So took advantage of the lovely weather in last few days to nip over and do a recce. Black Mountain Pass, Abergwesyn Pass, HellFire Pass, Evo Triangle etc. Attached Targa at top of Abergwesyn Pass en route for old gold prospecting town of Tregaron before completing loop into Elan Valley. I even saw the Evo crew out at the Triangle .....where they filing COTY2016? as I blasted by.

Guys. It was a very pushed reccie. My nip over from Berkshire meant I did over 600 miles in 2 days and over 400 miles running around Mid Wales ( I have christened MW 350). So time tight, most enjoyable, did enough to make sure trip in May 17 at a more leisurely pace will take place.

but definitely forgetting the Hardknott Pass (if you're in a GT3[])
or any sports car really.... mind you if you're on the Hardknott pass during a welsh drive- then you've taken a wrong turn :ROFLMAO:[;)]

Although I really enjoyed the driving experience of my 991.2 Carrera 4 which I had in March 2016, I did really miss the open top motoring I had with my previous Boxsters. So following some lengthy searches into various ownership experiences, I eventually took the plunge and purchased a New 991.2 Targa 4S from PC Tewkesbury and took delivery within a swift 24 hours including cherished transfer and collected the new car on Saturday 29th October. Special thanks go to Will Collins, Sales Executive and the team at PC Tewkesbury who completed the process with efficiency and total professionalism in the time available. I am absolutely delighted with the car and look forward to some interesting drives in it.

Here it is at delivery...

Many congratulations, David! That's a beautiful looking Targa. I find the team at Tewkesbury to be a really efficient, friendly and professional bunch. Happy motoring!

P.S. You obviously like black cars! [8D]
