Two lines which form part of the warranty documentation which require to be signed by the individual taking out the warranty :-

My Porsche is as per it`s delivery specification or has only been modified in line with the manufacturers recommendations. YES/NO I understand that I am committing to having my Porsche maintained and repaired at a Porsche Centre or Authorised Service/Repair centre for the duration of the Warranty Policy. YES/NO

Hope this assists understanding..?

Thanks! Confirms my decision to not buy the Porsche extended warranty, although out of interest, the Porsche person that I spoke to about it, didn’t point out the above mentioned first item...

Hopefully will make it to millbrook again Peter

Twas a fun day

I’ll take it up to Litchfield first I think !

cheers

dylan

Here's mine, 991.1 2S, I am very excited and have been waiting for the right spec and color, this color wasn't on my list initially, but I love it - I collect her next week.

I also traded in my 997.1 2S, manual which I have cherished and will miss, 55 plate with 29k miles (22k when I bought her in 2014) she is still as good a new and a pleasure to drive.

I cant seem to post an image!!!!!

Happy New Year all, I’m late to this forum as after a Box 987.2, 981 Box GTS, 981 Cayman GTS in May of 2021 I picked up this 991.1GTS 🙂

Not a lot of activity in this section of the forum it seems... Perhaps most 991`s are still under wraps till the better weather, hopefully we might see more pics posted when the weather is a tad drier and warmer with no chance of salt on the roads..? I thought to post a pic of one of my recent early morning drives just as the mist was clearing. Wonderful machine, wonderful morning and wonderful scenery.... What`s more to want..?

Great photo! [:)]

My Carrera T was 4 years old yesterday and has covered 39,000 miles/smiles. It recently had a little makeover too! Am loving the silver wheels and ‘cleaner’ look! [;)]

Mine’s driven all year round and wears winter tyres/wheels during the colder months.

Before I was allowed to post to the forum there was a new set of regs I had to agree to to enable access to post... Too late for the club to demand my first born as part of the many requirements... ! I wonder if folk may be put off posting due to increased demands and the claims of the clubs rights to all images posted..? Or have I misunderstood..Hmm..?

Pleased you liked the pic Simon. My 991 is driven on selected days over Winter, though I do spend more time washing under the wings and everywhere else on this car than any other I have owned..! Nah, don`t believe Your lovely yellow 991 is parked out in the snow Simon, let alone driven in it, I suspect that the white stuff is some sort of artificial stuff spread around for artistic effect...(-:

Ha ha! Oh, that was not snow in the photo above, just the evidence of a good wash/detailing! :)

Let me find a snowy one...

I`m impressed with your Photoshop abilities Simon, it REALLY looks like your spotless 991was parked in the snow.. (-:

Yup amazing that which can be achieved with a bit of skill in Photoshop.... (-: Were that image of your 991 a true representation Simon, I suspect your club membership might be at risk, given all the legalese I had to bow down to in order to post on this forum... (-:

The Forum rules have been around a long time and occasionally you will be asked to acknowledge them by ticking the check box. I had to do the same a couple of days ago and I've been on the Forum for 20 years!

Beautifuls cars, Intetested to see how people find the 991 GTS vs the 981 GTS? I have just made the same swap

Peter, thanks for the heads-up. Pay me no attention, I`m just a grumpy old man who thinks he remembers a time when the world seemed to require far less...err...guidance to behave reasonably.

Great idea to get the activity back up on the 991 thread.....

Nice to see what other 991 owners are up to with their cars...

This is from a quick spin out to Hever Castle and there is a folly on the route....

Both look VERY special... which was the folley in the pic... ROFL (-:

[:D]

I think I would know the answer to which is the folly if I asked my wife.... :)

Having said that I really do love driving the car whenever I can get out....

For sure if we asked others to determine how wise our automotive choices might be, I`m sure we might be in for some criticism... (-: The main thing is that WE can enjoy them and derive pleasure from sharing that enjoyment with other like minded souls... Thanks for taking time to reply, and of course for posting the pic of your 991... The more the merrier..

Interesting graphics, the significance is lost on me...Duh..!

Very true….

The decals are after the number 23 Richard Attwood Le Mans winning 917 from 1970. Porsche GB made a limited run to commemorate the British Le Mans winning drivers (Richard Attwood which is guards red, Derek Bell in blue & Nick Tandy in white).

Thanks for the heads-up on the important significance of the graphics on your 991, I have to admit that I did not know of those special runs...making your 991 that bit more special...Thumbs up..(-:
