About a month I would guess. Was originally due early April.

Hi there, I a potential new 911 992 owner. I noticed on your post, you mentioned you optioned the "roof transport system". My local dealer thinks that it isnt possible to attach a roof rack to a 992. It will disappointing if it's not possible. I also notice that Porsche dont list a roof system for a 911-992 on their website. I'm really hoping you say it's possible as this could be a deal breaker. Many thanks
You could try a suction roof rack. I've not used one, but here's an example https://www.amazon.co.uk/ROCKBROS-Roof-top-Install-Carrier-Adapter/dp/B077YDG511
There is definitely the roof rack lugs under the rubber seals when you option the glass roof, not sure if its on other roof options. I have read that the rack from a 991.2 fits on the 992, haven’t tried it myself yet. Toby

Many thanks everyone for your help. Plus prompt replies as well. It's much appreciated. I'm very pleased to hear that the lugs are there.
I'm currently driving a M4 Competition but I've always thought some day I'm going to own an 911. I have a test drive on Saturday.
Watch this space.....Many thanks again

Enjoy spidermack! If it impresses you at the test drive just wait until you've owned one for a while. They just get better and better. Always something new and fun to learn with driving a 911. On a test drive you'll only really get to understand what a gorgeous luxury car it is. It's once you get a chance to experience Mr Hyde as well as Dr Jekyll that you understand their true brilliance. I've never known a car balance a split personality like a 911 does.

Yeah a split personality sounds like what I'm after. It would be a daily, plus used for some long road trip and of course some "spirited drives". My M4 is great but I'm hoping for some more comfort.mphillips said:Enjoy spidermack! If it impresses you at the test drive just wait until you've owned one for a while. Yup, it'll do that with aplomb. My 991.2 is my daily too. I've tracked it, done holidays with wife+dog to Europe, and a couple of summers ago stuck a mountain bike on the roof and drove to the Pyrenees from Yorkshire. Did a single day return leg from Bergerac via the Chunnel — 897 miles in a day. It's an amazing car.
