I used the supplied splitter to provide input to the DAB feed. I did get a couple of DAB stations when stationary but for obvious reasons I haven’t been able to drive and find out how decent a solution this is when underway on the road. All the parts I didn’t use are shown in the second set of photos I posted above. It is possible that the long black cable with the ivory connector is a DAB feed. The other two long black cables are definitely a GPS aerial and a microphone so it’s the third which I’m guessing is possibly a DAB cable. As you can tell I’m afraid I’m no expert. The last piece of radio fitting I did was on my first Minivan back in 1972 so please make appropriate allowances. Actually the reason I was confident is that the connectors were colour-coded and had tailored fastenings so it was quite hard to go wrong.

this could be of interest regarding data usage for map apps... it compares google maps, apple maps and waze. personally I prefer waze (even tho it's now owned by Google)...

Give Greg a call at Auto Audio in Park Royal if you get stuck. They are officially closed but taking calls - tell him Rehan sent you and he’ll be able to advise you on anything. Some of the OPCs send cars there and they have done high end installations / rebuilds for many notable people - e.g. Eric Clapton, Idris Ebla, Jazzy B, Royal families, etc. And of course ordinary people like myself...majordom said:if i were to order one any suggestions as to who might fit it - i am in west london ?
But it seems from the wealth of details on this thread you may like to Give it a bash yourself!
