997 Gen 2 Sports Exhaust

Hi guys, Since I'm going to withdraw my deposit on the 997.2 GT3 and having missed the PSE from my 997.1 C2S I thought I would give my local OPC a call. Porsche West London quoted me 2200GBP with no discount for PCGB... I think I'll give my supplying OPC the opportunity to quote and then give Cambridge a bell. Looking forward to hearing PSE on the Gen 2. Regards Mark

Well zippity-doo-dah! Phone call today from Exeter OPC to say they now have two, yes two, Gen 2 PSE's in stock. One is already paid for and I have first refusal on the other. Quoted around £2300 but when I asked for PCGB discount they dropped that to £1983. Hmmm, still not £1800 but close enough for Government work. Certainly didn't sound like they were prepared to drop it further with a few others snapping at my heels. Told them I would confirm or otherwise tomorrow but....got to done, hasn't it?!

Exactly the case Alan, you can only spend it the once... and were only here once - so make full use of it [:D] garyw

Good luck Alan - get in quickly otherwise it might 'fly' off the shelves. Thinking of getting a PSE for my 'new' baby soon.

Booked in for the 18th!

Has any Gen 2 owner taken their car in for a service recall on the exhaust system? I had a phone call the other week from the OPC saying that there's a part that needs to be checked/replaced on the exhaust. When I booked the car in for the PSE he didn't know if that part is replaced or not when they fit the PSE[8|] BTW, what do they do with the not so old "old" exhaust?

Two options to look forward to then![:'(] I wonder if half the system would fit on my kit car...................?![:D]
