I have heard lots of stories from the US guys who run various 100 cell cat exhausts that they get CEL warning lights come on after a few thousand miles. One of the reasons why I went with 200 cell TUV approved Cargraphic (TUV approved in Germany). If Europipe give a 4 year warranty - make sure you put (test) plenty of miles on the car in that time so if the CEL issue does come up then you are covered...

Oh b*gger and there is a 997.2 turbo version too (or is it the same one?)....
. I wonder what the dBs will be at 4500 rpm? No point in fitting that (for me anyway) if I can't pass a noise test for a track day[] Get thee behind me Satan (and listen to that sound[])

I have sent an inquiry to Parr already.

I want to know if the flaps make my exhaust louder (like a straight through exhaust) or quieter (like a muffler). If so what are the dB changes. Quieter could be very useful for passing track day regs.

More on the new Cargraphic exhaust with remote controlled flaps:

With the ET (quietest) silencers the car will be pretty much the same as standard. In loud mode the car sounds fantastic, but its probably not what you want for certain situations track days, motorway cruising etc. You will see a slight performance drop with the flaps shut with the quietest silencers but we are only talking a few BHP due to the extra resistance in the silencers. On the other hand with the flaps open you will get more power.

For anyone interested the flappy Cargraphic exhaust is around £5.2k fitted, including the remote operating system. Enquiries are being made about dB levels but it is thought the "quiet" mode is similar to stock. Now, how badly do I want it............[]

That's too much IMHO. I paid about £3k (after VAT) 3.5 years ago for mine as part of my powerkit I seem to recall. This one is 1000 euros over the standard one, but still.

I agree! For a bit more you can get the Akrapovic titanium system, big weight savings, decent HP/torque gains too!

Very low mileage example with a good spec and looks almost as nice as a red one....[] Strange it's had 3 owners in 12k miles though...

I picked up my new Cayenne on Saturday and Hatfield OPC, had a nice black turbo s 997 with lovley swirl marks over it, presumable will polish out but also a 991 turbo s below list with 900 miles on it, owner changed mind....lovely grey colour too. Looks awsome

My white turbo S I thought looked amazing, PM me if you want a pic...try and find one like that...most amazing car I have had.....well almost
