Paul is this now official, been a slow news day on these pages recently we need some new ammo ....... are you going to change the car back to it's original race decals and hunt for the "correct" wagenpass .... took me a while to find mine!

Des, Is it now known who raced this car in 1990?

Welcome to the 1990 M700 club[:)] great car no matter who owned it!

Further research required however I'm confident that it was raced by the Italian driver Vittorio Colombo for the Max Moritz team. Car number 7.

I'm seeking photographs of the original livery. I've seen the videos so photo clips of the video not required.

I have an original 964 steering wheel and a Momo Porsche 07 steering wheel. Either of which are contemporary.

Any history of the car from its racing days or since would be welcome.

Interesting 964 Cup for sale on Mobile.de

Never seen this before... ('91)M series engine and chassis numbers and '92 dated Wagenpass. is this common? Also has the later introduced RS style Matter cage base plates. when were they first introduced... 1992?

Anorak explanations welcome[8|]

It would seem to be No longer available .....

The Porsche 911 /964 RS CUP,,ex Alzen mit KFZ Brief ! ad is unfortunately no longer available

Tink I have covered this, the repair at the front is not major, so dont get too excited, again there is no question as to the origin as a maritime blue Cup Car verified by many in the know, not a clubbie[;)], RS or indeed C2 ...

If the originals are out there as you say and mine a reshell, then they must have new guts with a pretty walloped chassis ...

As I say an original Jurgen Alzen Motorsport build No 1 .... as it left Alzen except the rear wing .... so original mate!

Late to the party but can I ask why do you care so much? Surely you bought the car for your own enjoyment OR did you buy it as you always suspected it was this 'Altzen' missing link and you thought you were onto a winner?
Either way reading this thread there doesn't seem to be any actual paperwork to prove the claims so its merely your word against a doubter. Would GT Classics not have pieced the jigsaw together if they had suspected it was this historic race car?
They deal in enough of these cars to have done some research surely?
MAybe all these questions have already been answered and if they have apologies but I cant see where this is going. You have a great looking car that's gotta be lots of fun is that not good enough?
I think you bought a great looking car, I love it

Dunno about Alzen its getting more like Alzheimer's !!!!!!!!!

Some good questions there David -I'd like to see the answers......[:)]

Possible answers: Squirrels or 42

I think that Alzheimer theory is worth to think about it.

Or: Stop talking and lay down some rubber with that great car.
