Simon,

So glad that I could help and hope you got a good price on the Spyder :)

Best of luck with the rest of the cars, Escort sound fantastic as sure that will sell in no time. Would have been interested in the 928 but unfortunately my wife does not like the look of them unfortunately, otherwise it would have been the ideal car for fun days and touring with the additional space.

George

This has to be something special at this price level for a 12k mile example

£75900 looks well over list still

It’s certainly special Rob - there’s so much black that you’ll spend your whole life cleaning it, and then get backache sitting in it trying to rest because it’s got those awful 918 seats with no lumbar support unlike the proper GT buckets which smart people chose ;)

Always worries me when a dealer does not take the time to proof read their advert and can't even spell Porsche correctly !!! Just shoddy work ethic !! However why has it got Cat S at the end of the a?

Obviously being new a car will be ok (assuming its not a Cat S) but always tended to stay clear of dealers in the 2nd hand market when they make silly mistakes on their adverts as always wonder what other checks they miss

George

Doesn't seem that you read the advert, it says it's "cat S".

Also, apparently, whilst it has been damaged and repaired and is cat S it's still;

"UNMARKED INSIDE AND OUT BRILLAINT AS NEW CAR !!"

Hmm.

Yep noticed that on the advert after I had posted my reply !! Definitely will struggle to sell at that price for a Cat S and nicely worded to appear at the end of the ad with no indication (can't zoom in on the invoices) as to what the extent of the damage was

Would a Cat S Porsche still be under a Porsche Warranty as claimed!

987 Heritage Spyder [&:] Drivers seat looks like it has done many more miles than the car says plus its a damaged repaired example too []

Unusual choice of two tone colour arrangement to say the least, but just right for a track day if you want to be noticed. You had better have some decent driving talent though or it could all look a bit silly. Not for me thanks......

Great car for Sale, sold to Pilote Classics, great guys to deal with and thanks to George for setting up.

Good morning Spyder owners & fans - hope everyone is well. First time poster here!

Quite the thread having gone back and read much of it. Impressive…

I just thought I’d pop a post on as I may well be looking for a 981 Spyder. It’s a decision I’ve been wrestling with being an owner of a 981 GTS. Any owners here who have owned both And have some thoughts on this?

I've driven a Spyder and the ‘special’ feeling is certainly in evidence. The ’directness’ and handling is what elevated it above the GTS For me. Oh l and let’s not forget the exhaust/engine soundtrack.

look forward to any wisdom anyone has for me!

Personally for an everyday or regular use I would plump for a GTS

For more occasional use drives or track days a Spyder.

Plus if you have usage of other cars a Spyder.

Everyone's opinions will be different of course.

But both great cars.
