Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Quite why a dealer has to list ALL of the cars specification is beyond me. Front and rear luggage compartments - who would have guessed? Rear wheel drive anyone?

Perhaps its just being lazy, with a cut and paste, as I cannot see anyone slavishly typing all this lot out. Personally I would bin most of these items anyway in a Spyder, including the PDK gearbox. Special mention must go to the clothes hooks on the backs of the heated seats. If you want all these silly toys, buy a GTS. It's far too expensive anyway.

What platform is the voodoo spyder for sale/ link please?

whilst considering a used Spyder I have also placed a deposit on a 4.0 boxster Gts because at £76k on the road is the same price nearly as a used 981 Spyder! But which is the better car? IMHO the 987 and 718 models are more worthy than a 981 but with the 718 it's crazy prices so the gts is the next best thing for £20k less

Thinking of selling my Red 987 Spyder 14.5k miles. Manual , buckets etc I have a trade bid not far below my

Price - £50k + extras if wanted PM me if interested

The voodoo blue Spyder is a 981, there aren’t any voodoo blue 718 Spyders in the UK as mine would have been the first. Went for OSLO blue instead, I loved my GTS 4.0 easier to live with than a Spyder but not quite as special

Your car looks stunning and how lucky were you not going Voodoo which is now aka Shark Blue for a 1/3rd of the price too :ROFLMAO:

Look forward to seeing your car in the flesh [8D]

It's been a while since i've popped in here. I bet Brian and John have still got their Spyders :) Very difficult to better those cars for smiles per mile. Goes without saying that Rob(daro) will still have his :)

Has my previous 987 Spyder ever popped back up on here? RE60 HDK.

Nice to hear from another founder member flat6 and trust all is well in your non Porsche world[:D]

I certainly still have my Spyder despite several recent calls from 2 Porsche specialist traders, one Porsche Centre and a private buyer desperate for a 981 Spyder PTS

In years to come I will financially regret not selling summer 21 but some cars are worth placing fun and pride of ownership above an indecent profit 5 years down the road :ROFLMAO:

Keep in touch and hopefully see you back in the fold again sometime

Hello mate.

I'm good thanks.

It's good that you haven't succumb to temptation to part with your Spyder. I think you would be hard pushed to find a replacement that gives you as much ownership joy as your Spyder clearly does.

I however have succumb to the temptation of appreciating value and have just put my car up for sale.

No plans to replace it. Committed to the little man's racing now 😊

Thanks mate. The 4C sold in less than a week and as these cars are appreciating, it was the right time. I've now followed your encouragement into open top motoring and have used some of the funds to pick up something considerably cheaper but just as much smiles per mile and will also sell my daily and use this as my only car.

Meanwhile, Maurice has had his best weekend yet! If he can get into Porsche Carrera Cup in the future, I can kind of claim to be back in the Porsche fold 😉

If anyone wants to partner on this exciting journey please do get in touch 😊
