ORIGINAL: flat6 Thanks daro. That car is a bit special isn't it. Hopefully i'll get to see it in Wales.
Seem to be as common as Spyders in USA [:D]

The fellow R5-er who has that blue car was explaining some of the process to me a while back. I think he said that as the 993 uses the same body shell as the 964 (with different external panels), Porsche used 964 speedster parts for the 993 Speedster. Therefore, I guess you can make them as long as 964 speedster parts (roof, windscreen etc.) are available.

The third car has buckets, unlike the other two. Also PDK with paddle-shifters. I wonder if it'll sell quickest or slowest. Might we even get back to 5, where this thread started[8|]

Maybe they should've skipped the LED lights on ours and made it even lighter[;)] You can see the standard car riding slightly higher and also having a taller roof which rises above the windscreen.

You've done the hard part by uploading the pic and grabbing the URL to paste it into your post. The URL is the http://blah_blah_blah.jpg you have pasted in your post) What you can actually do is click on the button that says 'image' on it - on of the grey buttons that are present when you are writing a post. It will type
image] and this will display the image. (I know I said before to type [img] instead of [img]. They both work.)

Brilliant find flat6 I now feel my mega spring clean last weekend wasn't serious enough after looking at these shots [&o] I think those wheels look awesome too

Not sure if i like those Fuchs on it and the delete script .As to the detailing i hope my car never gets to that state that i need that amount of work done to it . I have cleaned my wheels more often despite the Angel rim wax and Angel wax polish on then especially the fronts the rears no problems .I just wonder as to what a detail like that costs. I suppose if you are selling your car and it is prepared to this standard it will help sell it but on the other hand if it come's out looking like that you may have second thoughts . . Going on a club run tomorrow so hope it is a nice day again, weather up here has been glorious all week still cold but have seen 9 deg . Need to get deflector in place before the hood comes off . Brian

If it gets dirty just wash it. All part of the fun. Mine always scrubs up ok. The journey is more important than the destination.

[:D][:D] You made me google boxster spyder joke. A few ruffled feathers here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/310368-porsche-boxster-spyder-v-ferrari-360-spider.html " There are clearly areas where the Boxster shows itself to be the more modern car. On poorly-surfaced roads, its ride is extremely firm but the body structure feels vault-solid where the Ferrari’s shakes and shimmies. And the 360 doesn’t feel as secure on the limit, a point where the bond of trust between driver and chassis begins to curl up at the edges. It’s more an impression than a certainty – the 360 plants too much rubber on the road to betray all but the most wreckless of pilots – but sometimes, powering out of medium-to-fast corners it’s hard to tell whether the rear is taking up suspension slack or beginning to slide. Which rather puts a cap on confidence.  And it’s true, the Boxster Spyder can easily keep up on the twisty roads of the South Downs, even teach the Ferrari a few things about chassis neutrality and poise in extremis. It corners harder and with a little more fluidity, though with less communication and less involvement. But the 360 Spider delivers such an intoxicating hit of pure supercar sensation that all of this seems almost unimportant. "

The sun has been out the temperature rose to 9' and the Spyder has had some fun today and the PC Locator back to TWO[8D]

Thought the white one may go first. Good day for Spydering. I saw the Ferrari comparison article when it came out, it's good. I don't think I could have put 15500 miles on a used Ferrari over 3 years for the price of one minor service.

Meanwhile over on Pistonheads... How the hell did we miss this? [link]http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/2011-porsche-boxster-spyder-page-8[/link] :)

Its hard running a forum 24/7 without missing some things. We must try harder [:D] This clip really says it all;- What’s also astonishing is that the Spyder feels just as alive during a five-tenths relaxed cruise as it does when gunning for a track record. A big piece of this magic is its steering, which is exceedingly accurate, responsive, and communicative.
