Indeed[] It was a pic from Porsche's own marketing gallery. I guess they were trying to tell us something about who should buy this car. Still, the £144K 997 Speedster's roof isn't any quicker and you still have to pull over. I'd rather have the Spyder roof. It's actually fun to do[] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H1rAzaM8gYORIGINAL: daro911 Keep it dry 24/7 I say flat6

[]I think they were trying to warn us that you'd need a bit more dedication than a standard Boxster, but went overboard and should've balanced it with showing how good the roof actually is. This is mine getting washed when I had it detailed. My mate treated it as he would any soft top and it was fine. The soap and water was applied with his jet gun.ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Perfect recipe for a caption competition: Him: "don't worry love, it's just a passing shower". Her "I told you that leaving the roof at home to save weight was a bad idea".
Do all lightweight Spyders come with a mate who is a detailer?[&:] If yes please supply option number[]ORIGINAL: flat6[]I think they were trying to warn us that you'd need a bit more dedication than a standard Boxster, but went overboard and should've balanced it with showing how good the roof actually is. That's Iain Brown's place in Rochdale isn't it? What do I win?
[] Not quite, but I did have 2 polite lads knock on my door, with a dirty bucket of water, asking if they could wash my car. I had to decline.[]ORIGINAL: jdpef356Do all lightweight Spyders come with a mate who is a detailer?[&:] If yes please supply option number[]ORIGINAL: flat6 This is mine getting washed when I had it detailed.
