Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

There are now pics of the Bristol car. Just noticed it doesn't have sport chrono. How much is that to retrofit?

I hope they're reading on here as i'm doing them a favour telling them they need to clean up that newly fitted tyre[>:]

Although I have a manual with the wart on the dash[&:] I am not convinced this option is really necessary as the standard cars like this one have a nicer throttle mapping as standard but a less aggressive feel when our sports chrono button is activated which is something I rarely do especially if pottering around I certainly wouldn't miss it if I went for a carbon bucket car that didn't have it and very much doubt I would bother with a retro fit Glad to see flat6 has got into what a clean wheel and tyre should actually look like [:D]

Although at the concours demonstration we had at R18 on Wednesday night, I learned that your wheel has a potential point loss making opportunity. Can anyone say what is "wrong" with Rob's wheel?

Silver Spyder going well with us at Curborough yesterday--owner not yet connected with you spydermen. See R13 forum post for pic.

ORIGINAL: kitchens Great promo video ....at £227K it should be called the FFS [:D][:D]

The car should be parked with the crest turned the right way up? (and lifted to line up all 4 wheels!)

Hi Gents! I actually went to view/drive the Bristol OPC car yesterday. The wheels are actually due a refurb (minor scuffs) and new rear tyres (correct spec) havent been fitted yet. The rest of the car inside & out is pretty immaculate and it drives perfectly. Has only had minimal time on rev range 1 and 1 owner from new. However, didn't go for it in the end as I might have another opportunity. Will update you all once I have the news confirmed.

http://flatsixes.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/2010-my-997-turbo-paddle-shift-for-pdk.jpg Was looking at the PDK wheel on the Mid Sussex car and it shows a different style to the one posted . I take it it is the same gear box just a different wheel prefer the ones with the paddles at the back right for up shift and left for down . On the subject off wheels could you guys with the black wheels post up a close up picture of one as i may go down that route ?? but want to keep the silver outline and silver inner,do not want all black but may be easier to keep it looking cleaner . Also the comment of the car at the track with grill rad guards any contacts for a company that do them .as feel the rads are very venerable. Questions questions [:D][:D] Gee Force thanks for the update i can see another person joining the fold [;)]

Cecil, Curborough is a sprint track near Lichfield & the May meeting is organised by John Lord ,RO of R8 cost £35 for as many runs as you can get in--I did 15 or so yesterday many on the full circuit.David Bladon,ARO R 13 who was also at Anglesey in his blue 964 convertible was there, also. Weather was great-tops down for all the Boxsters,911,soft tops except Spyder in that pic -great mix of cars, guys (& girls driving),tyre kicking plus an unusual "Noble lookalike " kit car that the builder was trying out -had a Kawasaki engine with paddle gearchange,997 gen 2 turbo,968'2 944,964's ,993's,2.7 Carrera,2.7 911,Lancer evo equivalent,996 Targa, etc & of course yours truly in the e-bay 924S. probably more pics will appear.
