Do you remember roughly what the spec was?ORIGINAL: daro911 OPC Guildfords Spyder seems to have found a new home [8D]
I've got the full bodysuit - I'm not making a fall of myself by wearing that helmet![ORIGINAL: flat6 Especially for one of the red Spydermen []
So the Aberdeen car is a new one. Hadn't noticed there was one in one out keeping us at 6. I think it will go next with due to its spec. Location of the car

That VIN is within 3 of mine so I guess they went down the line at the same time and probably travelled across to the UK together [ORIGINAL: flat6 So the Aberdeen car is a new one. Sorry can't recall[&o]ORIGINAL: flat6 No doubt the mileage between it and yours is vastly bigger than the difference in VIN numbers[] My post #3423 was supposed to ask if you could remember roughly the spec of the Guildford car?
The drivers looks very uncomfortable in those cars, close upto the wheel, which then is set as high as it will go, he is also forcing the wheel out the turns even though the cars already under steering. And did I hear him say braking at 400meters wtf it's not a 10 ton lorry, that has to be a mistake.ORIGINAL: flat6 Spooky - we're talking about Lotus and this has just popped into my inbox. I've always liked the Elise and Exige but I just don't get the Evora. Looks like a Tesla, is expensive, is bigger for no apparent benefit as the rear seats are inaccessible if you opt for them. Who is this car for???????? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WYvr38OOAOE

Went out in the Spyder to get some fresh air (but roof was up as it's raining). Drove along some unfamiliar roads then decided to turn around in a pub car park. As I was about to exit, a car was reversing quite quickly down the road. They stopped and I pulled out. They followed me and within minutes I saw lots of flashes from the passenger seat as they were taking pics of my car. So, just remember to always look your best and don't be picking your nose or anything like that as you're always being watched in a Spyder[8D]
Yeah his arms did look awkwardly bent under the steering wheel. Didn't look right at all.ORIGINAL: MrDemonThe drivers looks very uncomfortable in those cars, close upto the wheel, which then is set as high as it will go, he is also forcing the wheel out the turns even though the cars already under steering. Mine is #101. Spec for that car is close for dyllan. First one I've noticed with Xenons. If only it had fat boy seats. Flat6 you could swap them out? [ORIGINAL: daro911 That VIN is within 3 of mine so I guess they went down the line at the same time and probably travelled across to the UK together []
I'm amazed there weren't more with xenons, when I was looking I naively assumed they'd have xenons as standard and bi-xenon was something extra. The lights aren't bad but they are not a patch on the 2006 Z4M coupe - a car six years older that I swapped out of. Creature comforts like auto lights and wipers obviously smack against its lightweight ethos but Porsche really have a nerve considering it was built in 2010/2011!ORIGINAL: rob.kellockMine is #101. But I thought they were lighter[ORIGINAL: MrDemon Xenons do weigh more also as you have to also have washers etc.
So many Spyders weren't bought with weight in mind, just look at all the sport seated non Spyder wheeled cars around. If you're into the options list, I'm amazed xenons weren't up at the top of your list - it would have been for me if new. My toothpaste caps covered in tin foil fool the casual observer during the day, its only at night you would know the difference but then you can't see my DIY mod!!ORIGINAL: MrDemon Xenons do weigh more also as you have to also have washers etc.
Only when switched "on" [link=http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=porsche%2Bboxster%2B987%2Bxenon%2Blights&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=_zmvV2ODW9RpOM&tbnid=oLS1glHlaKAtcM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fbhp%2Fporsche-boxster-headlight&ei=Exq8UYjtNrPI0AXhlYHwCg&bvm=bv.47883778,d.d2k&psig=AFQjCNHSEeKB8z6z0tgxLujLgov_cd3-6w&ust=1371368334046061]ORIGINAL: jdpef356But I thought they were lighter[ORIGINAL: MrDemon Xenons do weigh more also as you have to also have washers etc.][&:]

I would love xenons in the R. The lights are very poor after my Audi TTRS xenon car. The issue with Spyders is the OPC speced most of them up to be like a normal Boxter, hence all the daft specs about with turbo wheels normal seats , ac etc, no one got the car at launch so it was speced back up. OPC Sutton manager fits turbo wheels to every car, all his cayman R and Spyders had turbo wheels in the show room. And when I asked wtf was going on, it was down to the manager liking turbo wheels, so ruined all the cayman r and Spyders.
Brilliant thinking. Might be too soon for me. Will look into it.ORIGINAL: rob.kellockMine is #101. Spec for that car is close for dyllan. First one I've noticed with Xenons.
