I really like Aqua but wouldn't have any interest in this high priced high miler [&o]ORIGINAL: flat6 Back to four and something a little different in that it's aqua. The mileage is super high, so will someone desperate for blue overlook that. Porsche Boxster Spyder, £ 37,450 With 2 Years of Porsche Approved Warranty Transmission: Automatic Fuel: Petrol Colour: Aqua Blue Metallic Colour (interior): Black leather interior with sport seats Vehicle Ident Number: WP0ZZZ98ZBS740173 Mileage: 30,432 m Registration Year: 03/10 Equipment 19-inch Boxster Spyder Wheel Cruise control Floor mats Fully automatic climate control Heated seats Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including navigation module Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) Porsche crest embossed on head restraints Roll-over bar in exterior colour Silver-Grey seat belts Sound Package Plus including CD storage Sport Chrono Package Plus Sports seats Steering column casing leather Three-spoke sports steering wheel with paddles Wheel centre set Porsche Vehicle Tracking System
If the car attracts little interest, in a couple of months they may listen to an offer of a few £k less but £30k is unlikely given it should be prep'ed to a standard (which cost money they need to recoup) that would make it hard to point too many fingers at the mileage. £34K because of mileage and some wear to the seat bolster and some stone vhips around the side air intakes and nose (if it has any wear), might not get laughed out of the showroom.ORIGINAL: dyllan Very nearly perfect spec for me but no chance at that price it would need to be nearer 30 k to tempt me at near 40 k miles
Since when was 30k miles near 40k LOLORIGINAL: dyllan Very nearly perfect spec for me but no chance at that price it would need to be nearer 30 k to tempt me at near 40 k miles
I actually think the average miles PA is circa 8k for most people in their cars today The good old 12k miles pa has been well and truly priced out of the equation Back to the Aqua car and the Red 36k mile car .... Discounting the few Spyder daily drivers out there who would want a weekend toy with mega miles when for the similar money you can find a car with well under half the miles Unless the saving was substantial, which it isn't currently, to me it makes no sense [&o]ORIGINAL: MrDemon Porsche ave miles are based on 8k PA blue one will be a tough sell, PDK, chairs, hi miles

I saw one of these at Spa and thought it looked great! I agree these colours would look great on a white spyderI think gold wheels would look great on the Spyder, as long as it was this gold:![]()

this is why I say if buying any Porsche less than 4 years old check the vin against the reg.so many cars sat around up to 18 months unregistered.reason not a lot were factory ordered as per pre 2008 or credit crunch.so you might be buying a 2 year old car which is actually 3 years old and costing the same as something newer.hence why I say about the spyder because a lot of those did sit around.when I bought mine I could have paid the same price if not more for a less specd. older car,so the vin sold it to me. my car is 2 years old in 23 days as the service light is showing which is either factory set or set on arrival in the uk at reading for pdi.even have a copy of the comms.which is the opc order form and shows the shipping/arrival date. so I know actually how old my car really is although registered December 2011.ORIGINAL: VvrooomM The registered date probably bears no resemblance to production dates in many cases. I bet there are loads of Spyders built earlier but registered later than others. Registration is obviously not a real indication of age, just look at the rep mobiles piled high on airfields awaiting buyers.

although I would check the vins the 2010 car could actually be newer than the 2011 car(factory built) I would buy the newer and get the exhaust thrown in as part of the deal!ORIGINAL: MrDemon 2010 car 6k miles manual with buckets and PSE . 2011 car 6k miles manual with buckets, no PSE . both have 2 years OPC warranty and the same colour. which do you buy if they are the same priceyes if it were a Ford or a normal car, sod the exhaust buy the newer car if it's the same price. the Bristol car was the oldest car for sale at the highest price, people mocked it, it sold
thing is like the GT3 market , no one cares about the year, the cars are so hard to get the spec you want and the runs so short, the year goes out the window as long as every thing else is the same and specs did not change over the run. Spyder more so as the run was very short and nothing changed.
Failing to get the £2k worth of exhaust thrown in as part of the deal which would you go for then [ORIGINAL: spyderwhiteI would buy the newer and get the exhaust thrown in as part of the deal!ORIGINAL: MrDemon 2010 car 6k miles manual with buckets and PSE . 2011 car 6k miles manual with buckets, no PSE . both have 2 years OPC warranty and the same colour. which do you buy if they are the same price![]()

Exactly what I would do too[ORIGINAL: spyderwhite as above edited post I would check vins first and decide how to proceed
Or get your free certificate of authenticity from Porsche quoting your PCGB membership number. Will give you your car's actual birth date!ORIGINAL: spyderwhite this is why I say if buying any Porsche less than 4 years old check the vin against the reg.so many cars sat around up to 18 months unregistered.reason not a lot were factory ordered as per pre 2008 or credit crunch.so you might be buying a 2 year old car which is actually 3 years old and costing the same as something newer.hence why I say about the spyder because a lot of those did sit around.when I bought mine I could have paid the same price if not more for a less specd. older car,so the vin sold it to me. my car is 2 years old in 23 days as the service light is showing which is either factory set or set on arrival in the uk at reading for pdi.even have a copy of the comms.which is the opc order form and shows the shipping/arrival date. so I know actually how old my car really is although registered December 2011.
