ORIGINAL: MrDemon Tonight we get to find out what adding 45kg's does to the 30-95 mph time.
That will be interesting especially as you have the measuring equipment to back up how it feels. I've feel a slight difference in the car when carrying my big burly cousin and when I get him out the car feels like it's flying[:D] If your girlfriend makes no difference, try to re-run the test with somebody bigger[;)]

ORIGINAL: VvrooomM Spyder ate blackbird today, no obvious damage bar radiator covered in feathers - never found remains. Do any of you guys have rad guards fitted and if so where from? The only ones I can find are in the USA.
If you can track this member down then maybe you could ask him. When I spoke to him Llandudno, he said his username was Spyderlite but he said he doesn't use the forum. Maybe it is this guy and you could ask him via email. Or, you could post in the R13 section asking if someone knows him. http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/showprofile.asp?memid=28996

ORIGINAL: VITESSE Silver Spyder going well with us at Curborough yesterday--owner not yet connected with you spydermen. See R13 forum post for pic.
Aha! Thanks Colin. I spoke to this owner at Llandudno. I remember his unique grills over his rads.

I emailed this guy he used Audi ones and modified them not sure if i have the skills required as the Zun Sport ones require no removal of the front end and a DIY job Brian
Oh I didn't know you'd tracked him down. Sounds like hard work what he's done, but he's done a good job. The grills is a good idea but I guess until I become a victim or a burst rad I don't really have any motivation to do it.

ORIGINAL: daro911 2012 finish on my nephews  2010 Model as he has the wrong wheels a change of finish shouldn't make much difference [:D]

He'll get away with dirt for longer with that hue[;)]

You're not wrong. Liz's Abarth has wheels that are that sort of shade and they look remarkably similar clean or dirty. Does show up kerbing mind. She kept her 500 Lounge perfect for 2 years but she has now done the Abarth a second time...

Rob on occasions your silver Spyder alloys have looked that shade [;)][:D]

No test tonight with vbox and extra weight added. Watched the tennis, dad came round and a few drinks were downed. I am really interested what 50kgs does though, so def this week end at some point.

They are not so far off now! Tennis was worth staying in for MrD, look forward to the results.

Is Dyllan still looking? [&:] If yes, I think most if not all his requirements are on this car. Just had 2 year Porsche service, new N rated rear tyres and 12 months tax (total of £1500). Extras include PDK, chrono sport plus, sports wheel with paddle change, sport seats (fully adjustable & heated), Porsche embossed headrests, PCM, sports exhaust, full leather, climate control, parking sensors, bi-directional xeon lights, upgraded audio package with iPod connection and lightweight 'Sport Design' wheels with gold hubs. 12 months Porsche warranty remaining. New price was £63k so over £13k of extras. Looks and sounds amazing and a real head-turner of a car as it's 1 of only 250 in the UK. £37,995 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201306227438867/sort/default/usedcars/maximum-age/up_to_3_years_old/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/price-from/25000/model/boxster/make/porsche/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/postcode/cb45bx/saved-search-id/2c92962d3a4eee4e013a5d9f81340012/page/1/keywords/spyder/radius/1501?logcode=p

I changed my PS2's all round at I think about 14.5k miles. I ran then down to 2.x mm and found them still capable in varied conditions. Some people change a lot sooner so i guess it's hard to directly compare. What tread depth do you all tend to consider a tyre spent if it has worn evenly across the tread?

thanks for the thought john[:)] yes that spec is very near perfect -i would be quite happy taking it and changing the wheels (which i would need to!)as the price is pretty good i think with all the bits i want.already on it-which I know form looking a lot must be one of the very rare ones with all my requirements ...... so more annoying than i could possibly express - sadly the poole build is driving me crazy-its now aout 6 months behind and over £100k over spent...not a happy bunny.till we are nearer the end of construction in a few months i cannot commit to a new car despite that one being agonisingly tempting. SOO frustrating-and of course till build nearly complet no garage to store my beauty[]

I hope I haven't jinxed myself but couldn't resist prepping my Spyder this afternoon for the Silverstone Classic where I hope to have the car in weather like we have now (dry) rather than wet windy and merely a picture on my mobile to show for all todays efforts which included inside as well as outside the PSE pipes [:)]

Looks very good. Mine is still untouched since last Sunday's 360 mile round trip to Silverstone and a couple of local trips. Still, the lawns and hedges look a lot better! BBQ warming nicely and Birra Moretti was on special offer and now nicely chilled... Have a good weekend gents.

Summer is here[8D] and 1 of the 3 White Spyders on PistonHeads Monday are now no longer advertised so presumably with the new owner[;)]      [link=http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds?Category=used-cars&Keyword=spyder&KeywordCleanedValue=spyder&M=512&SortOptions=PriceHighToLow]http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds?Category=used-cars&Keyword=spyder&KeywordCleanedValue=spyder&M=512&SortOptions=PriceHighToLow[/link]
