Good spot Vvrooomm. Unfortunately, I couldn't possibly ask Simon for it as I am secretly Italian. Did you check out the bottom of the ad? "Please do not bid if you are viewing this listing in Italy. We will not ship to Italy under Any circumstances. Historically we have had nothing but problems with Items sold to Italy." I mean really - some people have nothing but problems with items bought from Italy [:D]

Didn't want to put roof away wet and its a little tricky washing the car with it off - don't worry, my error will be corrected shortly. 30ish this wknd - shame I'm on nights!!

Very nice but you can wash the car topless ... I do all the time [:D] Don't be shy get that top off [:D]

ORIGINAL: MrDemon Way to heavy though.
Indeed. The F-type is certainly aimed at a different market, but might excel in that target market. As Harris says, German aluminium must be lighter than British aluminium as they've managed to make an all aluminium chassis 2 seater car 100's of kg heavier than an aluminium/steel hybrid 911[&:] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruFXKEIPTvA&feature=youtu.be Still, this concept has some nice detailing, with the shortened windscreen etc. How they'd apply a roof to the asymmetric rear deck probably hasn't worked out but someone in the market for a AMG Black Edition may find appeal in this concept. Drove an F-type and it was nice for what it was, but it doesn't drive like a Porsche and wouldn't get me to switch.

If you find out if you can get fronts do let me know!

You can't. There's a thread on Pistonheads about this. N rating is a load of old baloney designed to get suckers like me to pay for expensive rubber.

Maybe it's not a price issue (but I haven't bought enough tyres to make a judgement) but more an issue when availability is scarce for N-rated items. Have never had an availability issue myself but have read about others struggling to get tyres. Our rear tyre is currently cheaper as N rated than not[&:] http://www.blackcircles.com/catalogue/michelin/pilot-sport2/265/35/R19/Y/94/f?returnurl=%2forder%2ftyres%3f%26width%3d265%26profile%3d35%26rim%3d19%26speed%3dY%26minpricerange%3d0%26maxpricerange%3d0%26manufacturer%3dmichelin%26customerrating%3d0%26displayall%3d6&tyre=21670636 http://www.blackcircles.com/catalogue/michelin/pilot-sport2/265/35/R19/Y/98/f?returnurl=%2forder%2ftyres%3f%26width%3d235%26profile%3d35%26rim%3d19%26speed%3dY%26minpricerange%3d0%26maxpricerange%3d0%26manufacturer%3dmichelin%26displayall%3d6&tyre=13363104

I had the same situation a few years ago (2008 ) with my 987 with Conti-Continental Sports 2 N0 rated original fit on the car from new . Went to purchase a set of rears and they had discontinued that model and had moved on to Sport 3 N1 rated . I had to end up buying a complete set of new tyres .Sold the fronts with 4 mil on them to a Cayman owner they where 17" Also as we all know by fitting non N rated Porsche will invalidate the warranty as they will also do if the battery is non standard .A con[] Brian

Lol not quite true. Just had 2 warranty claims, with dunlop race maxx on , no issue,s People are so scared to do any thing. Added to that Porsche OPC fitted my dunlops and I did not even buy them from them. so much bull shit about warranty and not being covered. N spec is a joke, everyone knows it OPC inc.

Hi Stuart & Welcome to our Spyder Web we are  small in numbers (237 cars in UK)  but growing by the day   What is the spec of your new Spyder [8D]

Thanks for the welcome, I was very lucky with the weather, had the roof off first thing in the morning and back on last thing at night, I have already put 500 miles on it just out of the shear joy of driving it. It's by far my favorite car i've owned. Can you give me some tips to try and upload from my iphone as it keeps telling methe files are too big
