Well, I guess the equivalent or Spyder-man is R-man, but you can get away with Cay-man. The car is named after the Cayman alligator, so there's your animal link[ORIGINAL: Andy Fagan So it seems I've become a Caymanman [] Not quite the same as a Spyderman

That's because there is a kickdown button when you press the accelerator pedal beyond the full-throttle point - you can stop it doing it by not fully flooring the throttle, while still getting maximum acceleration. Interestingly, in manual mode the car will not automatically change up at the redline, unless you activate kickdown (kickup!).ORIGINAL: VvrooomM Manual setting is good but it still kicks down automatically if you push too hard on the loud pedal which seems odd.
And so the word got round[ORIGINAL: Andy Fagan Nice one Cecil [][
] I think the "R-man" will do

I realise that but when in manual mode it should be just that, if I wanted kickdown I'd have it in auto.ORIGINAL: homerdogThat's because there is a kickdown button when you press the accelerator pedal beyond the full-throttle point - you can stop it doing it by not fully flooring the throttle, while still getting maximum acceleration. I agree with you, but at least you can get around it with judicious use of your right foot. Isn't that the sort of involvement and interaction that some people bang on about ad nauseum?! I hope he likes it! [ORIGINAL: MrDemon I went to look at diamond rings for the other half yesterday... I expected more about getting a diamond ring and getting hitched lol.
