Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

ORIGINAL: Andy Fagan Some light entertainment to break the seat, wheels, g/box debate!! Worth a watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRIgmKGDqFM
They got him good and proper! [:D]

ORIGINAL: spyderwhite whats all this and leather inserts!I must be the only who likes the alcantara inserts on the buckets.coming from a car with heated leather sports seats they are not cold in the winter or hot in the summer like full leather and they compliment my alcantara steering wheel, gearshift and handbrake.
I quite like the look of the extended Alcantara on the doors. With Alcatara trim i'd want an Alcantara steering too. Is the steering wheel resistant to soiling?

ORIGINAL: daro911 March 1st tomorrow so time to plan some Spyder outings [8D] There is a special deal on tickets purchased before April for the superb Silverstone Classic and would be a great place to meet some fellow Spydermen and we can trash each others specs face to face over a beer or 99 of course as it's bound to be a heatwave weekend :ROFLMAO: I'm booked http://www.silverstoneclassic.com/
I'm booked - all three days[:D] Do we need a 'RESERVED SPYDER PARKING' area?
You should. It was nice to gather last time[:)] And give the public what they want to see[8D] My car had done a weekend before getting there and wasn't as clean as yours[&o]

flat6 I think the seats will get soiled a lot quicker than that steering wheel unless the driver dribbles when going for it:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I'm not wanting to dilute interest in Silverstone, but is anyone going to the Donington historic weekend with the PCGB discount deal over the May Day bank holiday? My better half and I are going on the Sunday - quite a bargain at £23 for 2 with Porsche infield parking.

One too consider but that would add another 20% to my total mileage to date [:D]

Have done 250 miles in mine in last 2 days. Pleasant jaunt around the Lakes this afternoon. The market's not bothered, So long as you have the right seats and gears [:(]

ORIGINAL: Mayhem911 Does anyone know if the wheel bolts fitted on the spyder are all the same depth. I am changing the turbo 11's to spyder lightweight alloys and wondered if i needed a new set of bolts . Thanks in advance.
When you have them off it would be interesting to weigh the Turbo 2s against the Spyder wheels, I bet the weight difference is minimal.

That is yesterdays advert now with pictures and corrected mileage[:D]. Must be lowest mileage Spyder for sale any where in the world today http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/boxster-987-05-12/porsche-boxster-987-gen-ii-spyder-pdk----------------2011/2102675

Wrong seats and gears, otherwise I'd consider a swap! Seriously, he should ask more for that, suspect it will go quickly? Crest to valve epic fail though []

Sky is always interesting in the Lakes. Only 5 degrees C so management decided roof had to stay on!

I have never driven mine in that format. On my own I've had the roof down in all weathers. Liz is a bit more sensible!

Give it a go! It' s often a good compromise - keeps quite a bit of warmth in, but you can still hear the exhaust nicely.
