Thanks Daro. Hopefully I can graduate from race engineer to manager []ORIGINAL: daro911Great stuff flat6 and what a wonderful adventure you two have just begun "Long May You Run" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjxz90hLYtwORIGINAL: flat6 Thanks Homerdog, thanks Andy[] I'd do anything to be honest if he continues to develop. In a couple of years when he's 10 I'll get a better understanding of how much potential he has. He's holding his own against the older boys but he needs to get bigger so we can remove some of the 18kg of ballast he's carrying as its dead weight as opposed to shifting body weight around the kart. These karts are doing over 40mph. What he's doing on track I don't know where be gets it from. His lap times are all within a few 10ths of one another. Too early for me get carried away though but i'll certainly stick at it - as Team Mangetout would say, "Living the Dream"[]

Just had a quick look round for Cayman Rs for sale and looks like they seem to be on the rise in price [] Opc & Virgin all well above 40k Looks like a good move on my part not only for a great car but holding its value Happy days [][][]
Totally agree with that, plus the fact I think you stole yours [][][] I think that as more enthusiasts gain ownership of the CR's they will become far more difficult to find as they will keep hold of them as it is sooooo difficult to replace with anything else []ORIGINAL: CLIFFWILKINS Just had a quick look round for Cayman Rs for sale and looks like they seem to be on the rise in price []Â Opc & Virgin all well above 40k Looks like a good move on my part not only for a great car but holding its value Happy days [][][]

ORIGINAL: MrDemon ORIGINAL: Steve Brown Rob, I got a bit of a deal for Leeds to do a combined: - Major service - Brake Fluid - Plugs - 4 Tyres Can't remember the exact deal, but I think the usual 10% wasn't far off the mark. If you need more info I'll dig out the invoicing. I dare not ask what the total price was for that lot esp OPC tyres pricing !!!

Garage the Spyder - I've done the same! Well, sort of - I thought about leasing an M135i for a similar amount, but bought a slightly different straight 6 instead; secondhand, but will save me loads in the long run!ORIGINAL: VvrooomM Getting tempted by a Golf R on lease. Only £252 pm with 6 up front. Maintained with tyres. Seems ridiculously cheap. Do I garage the Spyder or sell though?
