[] The theory is that whatever cars are on sale are the most unwanted, surely [] There always seems to be a little lull as the cars creep up towards 10 on sale and buyers begin to panick a bit less as there's a few to choose from. Then one will sell, the rest of the buyers wake up and jump in before its too late [] What is surprising though (or maybe it isn't?) is that the number of cars we've talked about on here that have gone up for sale and sold, who are they being sold to? Yes the number of Spydermen on here as crept up considerably since we started, but the number of cars sold has been much higher. Even at a rough average of 3 cars a month that's quite a lot of cars we've seen come and go. But where?!ORIGINAL: daro911Just knock £6000 off the asking price and you are back to the trade buy in price today add 10% max and that's your top $ private money[&o] You may have to offer OPC warranty & repaint the car to the new white to get a look in [][]ORIGINAL: flat6 How much can the OPC's influence the market prices like this? What should private sellers now be asking?

Do you mean actually finding there way to this forum? If so, i think its quite hard to find....Now who's going to register porschespyder.org and place a forum on it []What is surprising though (or maybe it isn't?) is that the number of cars we've talked about on here that have gone up for sale and sold, who are they being sold to? So by your maths, that's £36000 + £3600 = £39600 for a private sale car. My white, manual car with buckets and sports 'zorst is rarer than a Viper Green GT3! By Demon maths, that's a cool £69600 [][][] Minimum. Do you know, I might even throw in a new set of mats and one of my Porsche mugs for that.ORIGINAL: daro911 Just knock £6000 off the asking price and you are back to the trade buy in price today add 10% max and that's your top $ private money[&o] You may have to offer OPC warranty & repaint the car to the new white to get a look in [][]

2 White Spyders seem to have sold the cheapest one on Pistonheads went much quicker than the 911V slightly dearer example which is still for sale and the Bramley white Spyder is no longer advertised and went very quickly too The cheapy was £34950 and the Bramley was £38850 []ORIGINAL: philnotts99 Looks like no one wants a Black Spyder!

No white seat back on the 911V car because that beauty was once mine and can be seen on page 1 the very first post[] http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=719756ORIGINAL: MrDemon we do have a new member , not sure if he is on here though ex GT3 RS owner. spec PSE , AC and white roll bars and seat backs ,manual. was that the last car to go though 911V and was a members car here maybe, looks about the right spec. I'll point him over to here
Will be interesting to see if the CatD car sells quickly. We wouldn't know the sell price but the quicker it sells the more likely it was close to the asking price.ÂORIGINAL: daro911 One small problem "D" http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201403022181053/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/keywords/Spyder/price-to/1000000/postcode/e95lw/radius/1501/page/1/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/model/boxster/price-from/30000/make/porsche?logcode=p
I have no idea who ever buys a Cat "D" car but I am confident the car must have to be a good 20% plus cheaper than any similar spec model whether it is from a private seller or trade retailer. This Black private seller car doesn't have much going for it IMO unless the car was circa £25k [&o]ORIGINAL: flat6Will be interesting to see if the CatD car sells quickly. Hi Guys This is your last chance to come forward with your car for a magazine photo shoot. Weds 19th March in Chobham Surrey. If you can help please let me know. The forecast is good so it will be a good excuse to get your pride and joys out of the garage. Regards Tracy
well decided to pay the VERY large amount to have the Spyder serviced at my OPC, it does make me twinge paying double what it needs to be. but as I am not renewing the warranty I asked for a full check over so any thing which they find can be done under warranty. There was another Spyder in for service also, about to come for sale as well in white !!! being serviced for a 3rd party dealer about to sell it. I will get the spec later for you Phil it might have the magic 5 you have been looking for.
Could it be the white 31k mile PH dealer car that has just been sold as advert has just been pulled![&o]ORIGINAL: MrDemon There was another Spyder in for service also, about to come for sale as well in white !!! being serviced for a 3rd party dealer about to sell it. Hi Tracy Sorry its far too far for me as i'm way up North. Hope you find a willing volunteer. I've never actually done one before but then I never read of any incentives being offered by the magazines. Do they want owners to supply their cars free of charge and at their own expense? Oh, and I can't see the attraction for a Spyder owner to pull their pride and joy out and trek to Surrey when they can post pictures on here for show to the biggest Spyder fan club in the UK[] (just a little joke [] )ORIGINAL: Tracy Wilkins Hi Guys This is your last chance to come forward with your car for a magazine photo shoot. [][] John, I set 'em up, you fill the punchline! Apologies Tracy, I have court commitments that day. Mr D, did you have the 4 year major service? Did you get a deal at all or were you stuck with menu pricing? Mine is due at the end of May...
