not sure about the blue wheels, i will have my wheels painted by exel when i need a new set of tyres. i thought blue, then red but might go for white. those will sit right if i change my mind on the Martini stickers, after all they are only stickers

ANYONE THINKING OF SELLING? If so please contact me as I potentially have at least two private buyers looking for Spyders.

ORIGINAL: Fire_2 few vids from last nights action on track, thank you to Porsche GT! My little Boxster Spyder did ok! [link=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpDxQc50nA8]GT3RS4.0 - Brands Indy[/link] -180bhp makes a big difference [link=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1S-oGZ7DR0]BMW CSL - Brands Indy[/link]
Tks an interesting vid, the 4.0 drivers lines were less than ideal, very early braking for paddock, curious exits on druids and clearways, wasting time,,you were all over him on the Indy..... Had it been a power track with longer straights like Silverstone I expect the 4.0 would have disappeared into the distance? [:D] I would far prefer to drive a Spyder around that particular circuit.
In fairness, when the driver is 'having a go' in his friends £300k+ rS4.0 you might forgive him for taking a cautious line. It's Richard from perfection valet behind the wheel of the RS here I think.

Nope this was the last 20 mins of the trackday, Richard was in the pits Richard was in the csl apprently in my other video

In fairness, the Spyder did very well [:D] There's only one book bigger than the Racing Driver's Book of Excuses... and that's the Short Guide to Understanding Women [:D][:D][:D]

My response to the 4.0 on the track wasn't so much knocking the driver, more that the 4.0 was literally too much car for the indy circuit, which is why I mentioned how different things would be on a larger flowing circuit.

Too right. Looking forward to having a go on the Indy circuit next month at the PCGB trackday / festival. Neither Spyder nor 4.0RS will have a chance [;)][:D][:D][:D]

To much car for the Indy circuit and then people can use them on the road 100%and they win evo 200. All a bit of a laugh really if you stop to think about what people say.

D , "think about what people say". There is no way you can use a 4.0 100% on the road and keep your licence. That's not to say you probably can't enjoy the car a hell of a lot below it's full potential On the Indy being about a mile a long, you are briefly on the throttle before brakes at any given time. That is why the well driven Spyder was all over the 4.0 as the car was unable to reach it's potential in such a limited space. Then again it is a "GT" car. The Indy weapon of choice appears to be a Caterham with 160-200bhp on sticky rubber, yet compromised on the road and larger power circuits. I recall when you first got your GT3 and it was the best thing ever, even better than the previous best car and RS ever made, the one preceded with the letters "TT". [:D] A few of us told you they were literally too much for the road, and now after you have a little more experience you are literally chanting that mantra on a daily basis! It's really great to see the owner enjoying the 4.0 on track, so many seem to have been "collected" in recent times.

I agree it is great to see one being used. But the Porsche brand has gone mental now. the better driver cars are so limited numbers only the rich and famous can buy them, then Porsche state they want to make 200,000 cars a year but you cannot order a Macan either esp a turbo. The new GT4 again is said to be very limited with OPC's only getting 3 cars each (at least I am very high on the list for one of those) but any one who now wants one is screwed or you pay 15k over list for one. I'll prob just sell mine and put 15k in my pocket which is a shame. my local OPC stated they are getting people buying GT3's not even to drive them now, just rich foke off the street asking what is a GT3, can I have one. the car market is deluded. As for my GT3,cannot ever remember saying it was the best car ever, It was frustrating from the word go, but think if I had kept it what it would be worth and that's the annoying bit. lets say 20k more than I paid atm. I don't want to buy cars which you dare not use as the price drops 30k over night if you put a few miles on it. even Spyder prices are 10k from bottom to top just because of miles. I am better off putting it in a garage out the way. I am a car enthusiast, and I don't see many people about who are true car enthusiasts any more, people want to go faster easier !! maybe have to go back and visit Lotus owner ship, normal money and true car enthusiasts who enjoying driving and tracking and seeing 30k miles on one makes no odds. I spent 5 years in Lotus and loved all 5, Porsche seem a bit one up man ship and if you don't have a GT3 you are no body. And the TTRS well it did what it did very well, fastest A to B car ever in any weather, 430lb/ft torque from 3k revs and would out drag a 911 turbo of the same ilk. and because the torque was low down you could use 100% of the power quite a lot of the time. Not a drivers car so to speak, but a serious car for going from A to B in the wet and that was the fun. drivers cars are an end of an era, PDK, rear wheel steer, electric steering, e diffs, MAG ride, and to think we all took the piss out of GTR owners for the playstation car, now all cars will be this !!!!! so to sum up, garage the Spyder, buy a Exige cup car and drive more :) or just do the Super car thing and look at it or "look a tit" depending on peoples views on super cars. which would you buy, I have the need to buy some thing , just don't know what atm
