Recently sold and now back on the market again![&o] This car was up for sale back in February @12.3k miles and £37990.00 Gloss Black, Black leather & alcantara carbon backed bucket seats, 6 speed manual, Porsche switchable sports exhaust, LSD, 19" Turbo alloys, PCCB's (Ceramic brakes), Wind deflector, PCM 3 Touch screen Sat Nav, Bluetooth phone system, iPod connector, Sports Chrono package plus and Rear section of centre console painted. Supplied by Porsche Reading in March 2010, this Spyder has covered a mere 14,000 miles and has been serviced on time at 6k and again at 12k, both with Official Porsche Centre's. The last was done in March 2014 and was the major service to include plugs, so the next is due in March 2016 or at 32k which will be a minor. The car also benefits from a fresh set of Michelin Pilot Sports all round and is presented in fantastic order throughout, we have also inspected the ignition ranges which showed an exemplary report. The car also has Porsche warranty and breakdown assistance running until April 2016. Allegedly only 190 Spyders were registered in the UK making the car a very rare Porsche to collect. Supplied with the car is the Porsche book packs, 2 keys, MOT and fully service booklet. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/boxster-987-05-12/boxster-spyder-pccbs-sports-exhaust-carbon-buckets-chrono-low-mileage/2847096

Officially 237 but only 197 on the DVLA register How Many Left

Exactly, we all knew it was just over 230 cars......the joys of the internet, soon it will be 170 cars registered,,,then 150.....130..... next thing we know it will be under 100 Uk cars etc......Here we go again! Great cars, taking nothing away from the Spyder at all.

a lot do go out the UK My Exige was sold out of the UK. that black one must have had 34 owners now, my mate wants it but it's been for sale so many times how can one trust it, why are people selling it every few months ?

Probably one of the best looking Porsches I've ever seen...first time I've seen one on this thread too. Any in R18 as i'd love to see one in the metal!

Hi all Is anyone able to send me details of the service schedule for the Spyder? I believe there's a major service due at 4 years, but I'm curious about the other services that are due. Cheers Neil

Well done Rob, Two concours events within a week for your Spyder, I can see you will shortly be making a full time return to Concours d'Elegance[:D][;)] Just as an aside, Concours rules say you have to display your car with the rag top up. How did you get on?[8|]

Thanks John but with no Red competition it was a little easier yesterday[:D] You are semi right the roof has to be "on" when they inspect the car and they gave me 5 minutes to work out how it goes on[:D]I did say they could inspect the inside of roof off the car but they said it has to be "on"[&o]Not as easy as it sounds when the roof had been in the boot since taking delivery on April 27th 2011

Thanks Brian and the public reaction to a "Spyder" was so positive and complimentary Porsche will definitely be making a 981 Spyder next year when face lift is launched you can take that to the bank[;)]
