I really liked the white with red on my old Spyder, so have gone for the same again. ( stitching etc not the dash)

The above photo reminds me of this one, disregard the early Cayman on the left,[;)] now which is the bigger Spyder, the Red one or the White one?

The 918 Lightweight Bucket Seats are now back on the UK Spyder config.

Has anyone sat in these? Just wondering what there like vs the standard bucket seat?

Phil

Big debate on the US site ! I would really like to try the before committing..lack of lumbar support maybe an issue for my back. Had 18 way on prev Boxter and on current Macan and really supportive/comfortable.

£987 dearer, not available heated and non folding back so all sounds like an expensive non heated compromise to me:ROFLMAO:

I personally found the standard buckets a perfect fit to me and the heated option made it the deal maker before even noticing the EXTRA cost for the alternative bucket

It would be interesting to know the respective weights ncluding the motors......
Taken from a Rennlist thread [;)]

The question keeps coming up so, for reference, here again are the actual numbers, both seats.....total weight: GT2 buckets 78.0 lbs 4 way 97.2 lbs 18 way 128.0 lbs So 19.2 lbs total weigh difference, 9.6 lbs per seat, between the GT2 buckets and 4 way sofa seats.

Heard today that my build date is set for Nov 10th !!

My OPC initially had 2 cars, mine was meant to be 1st for an Oct build, but got pushed back due to GT2 bucket shortage.

The other car with 18 ways has just arrived in store....

Going forward the OPC has been allocated 1 more car for Jan build, but they are sure that's it. So just 3 cars at this dealer [:D]
