Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Nav, shiny exhaust pipes, leather steering wheel, carbon gear lever, door trims in white but centre console in leather, cruise, auto wipers, climate, rear camera, door pulls in red plus a few other bits & bobs, just over 70k. Will try to get a better interior picture tomorrow.

Looks lovely I think the Silver colour on the wheels suits the white better than a darker colour and a bonus you save £500

Be really interested to see how your interior bits look.

I was in 2 minds to be honest Brian but I think they do look good as you say in silver, and £500 not to be scoffed at !!

Phil, yes I'd like to see a better interior pic as well, hopefully later today, I'm abroad at the moment.

Lots of goodies that were extras on the 987.

John if you checked what is standard on cars costing a 1/3rd of the price and then add back in what is missing from that list to your standard Spyder spec and the equation starts to move towards cars costing almost a 1/4 of the price []

Certain so called standard features today on far cheaper cars from all different manufactures now includes sat nav: mobile phone connectivity: cruise control: multi function steering wheel: DAB radio: parking sensors: add that lot back to a Porsche Spyder and the price heads further north[&:]

How Porsche pull this off in the 21st century and gets away with it is a marketing master stroke :ROFLMAO:

The GT Silver looks very nice but not sure about the look with the Alcantara Interior red stitching and steel ring wheel looks cheap against the GTS would look nicer in full leather like the Ali trim .Wheels in SP look stunning There as so many variables on the new car unlike the older model.

Beats me why anyone would choose that interior with GT Silver - Spyder Classic interior looks better and is cheaper!

Looks very nice and shiny! White definitely makes it look like what I think a Spyder looks like (if you see what I mean!).

Well here's a few more pics I received today. I went leather for the centre console, wasn't that keen on the white there and thought the carbon would look out of place without the trims also in carbon, although it would obviously had gone well with the gear knob. Think I'm happy with it anyway.

Looks really cool 😀

I've gone for the leather wheel and gear lever as well, it's just a bit tight we don't get the contrast stitch on the steering wheel like they do on the GT4 😡

Black leather with Alcantara and red contrast stitching is for me a perfect combo for a white or red car. Thumbs up[:)]

On a blue car i'd do the same but with blue contract stitching. That would look electric!

I tried but was turned down as "not an option" so my blue will be with red as my last 3 Boxsters all had the silver and I'm up for a splash of flash this time :ROFLMAO:
