The only issue i think with attaching an image, is you can only post one at a time?!

Boxster7 - Thank you. Always wanted a garage like it. 50mm plaster board walls and ceiling with moto floor tiles on the floor.

Looks good....

Can you give me more details on the floor tiles you've used ?

I'm particularly looking forward to the remote roller door.... (small boy really !!)

Have you had chance to think if you will keep both Spyders ??

Are they different enough ?

Cheers

I used the following company for the floor tiles - [link=http://mototile.com/]http://mototile.com/[/link] - They are very good and very easy to lay if you have a flat surface to start with. They simply click into place.

Really cant decide whether to sell the 987 or keep it a year and see what happens. I havnt had chance yet to do a back to back. Hopefully i will if i do decide to sell up!

Phil

Cheers Phil

I think I saw these guys at the Goodwood Revival.

I'm currently thinking proper ceramic tiles (Porsche showroom stylee), but like these too.

Ref the Spyders, they do look the business together.

Tell me you don't have a massive grin on everytime you open the garage doors !!

Enjoy

Boxster7 - Am i correct in thinking you had your car coated in G-Techniq and film? If so, what sort of products did your detailer tell you to use to keep the car looking its best?

Cheers,

Phil

Hi Phil

Yes G-Techniq, with just front bumper and sills filmed (the plastic bits).

He recommended using the G-Techniq range of shampoos etc... as these are designed to be used in conjunction with the coatings, which makes sense I guess.

I had already purchased a different brand (no sure which), so am using this first, but will buy the G-Techniq next time.

Ive also brought a snow foam attachment for my Karcher powerwasher which works a treat, before starting the proper wash.

Happy cleaning.

Shaun

Hello Shaun,

Thanks for the info.

Did he state the G-Techniq products would be ok to use on the film also?

Cheers,

Phil

Anyone had a quality/reasonable insurance quote for the 981 Spyder?

£495 with Aviva. 8 years NCD, self and wife only to drive, 6k miles pa, garaged, social domestic and pleasure only, no tracker required. My previous insurer (Saga) refused to insure the Spyder so had to cancel the policy and take out a new one.
