I asked this question on my recent factory visit having read on the www last cars will be made in April arriving late May in USA - however when I asked if this was correct I was told they had not heard this beforeCLIFFWILKINS said:How long until more Spyders are made?
When it comes to questions like this or how many cars came to UK Porsche seem very reluctant to deny or confirm[&:]
Shame about the decals!
Easily removed in minutes ;-)Ian Gilmour said:Shame about the decals!

I kind of agree does nothing for the car ..perhaps a discreet SPYDER script on the right hand corner of the door would look nice as like the GTS

Porsche direct via Marsh £316 and up to £75 K value 5 k pa I have NCD Protected 11ys to use garage no tracker required .
Thanks Brian and a plus one for Marsh[] - for those who had not heard of Marsh. This is the 7 day complementary insurers when you purchase a new car from Porsche.
looks very unbalanced with blue, yellow, silver , platinum and black detail !!! the R style Strip with the front bit don't work on Spyders either like the classic Porsche stripe 911 R style (classic not new) which was used on the 987.2 car also.daro911 said:New PTS with its lucky owner [8D]
Sorry but the car below in blue and silver with old style stripe has it licked by quite a long way. (and that's not a 987.2 vs 981 thing), just on colour continuity and old style graphics point of view.

I've joined the clan. First new Porsche I've been tempted to buy for 19 years - last was a 993 that I bought in 1997 and still own. Am completely bowled over by the Spyder. A proper sportscar designed for the road not the Nurburgring. Now if only Porsche would make a 911 like this that you could actually buy.....
