Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Your could have been this Red car I viewed at PC Nottinham in October 2012

Hi John. This car has not got the coloured wheel centres like mine but they could have been changed at some point although my ones look original. The roll hoops are black and not body colour which is the same as mine. My one has a full service history by OPC Leicester so not far from Nottingham. It could be the same car?

Definitely not this one as mine only has "Spyder" on rear lid and roll hoops look body coloured.Again wheel centres on this one look black on silver.Where was this one taken?

No idea where it was taken as I have 100's of Spyder shots in folder even in the rare resale racing red:ROFLMAO:

In other news... Just hit the 1000 mile mark.

Have been sticking to 4.5-5k, but may be time to sneak a few more.

Goodwood booked for May, so Ideally another 600-700 miles to put on before then.

Boxster7 that Exclusive leather steering column / stitching really looks classy [;)] when I was at the Exclusive department on my recent factory visit that option use to be done in their workshop but is now popular enough to be done factory side on the production line these days

Cheers Daro

that was one of your top tips that I'm pleased I went for, adds a lot for little (in Porsche option terms !!) cash.

The other thing I went for following your lead was the clear Perspex wind deflector from our friends in the US.

Again a great improvement on the mesh standard item.

I don't understand why Porsche went for the mesh, all it seems to do is make the rear visibility worse, especially at night with lights behind you.

all good [:)]

Cheeky blast in the Spyder this afternoon.. Still somehow managing to keep it under 4k and it still sounds mental! God knows what it will l be like when it’s going towards the redline!! :)

well my Spyder has gone now, swapped it for an Ariel Atom. hey ho we all move on. The Martini Spyder has gone into the trade so no doubt it will be on PH soon

Nice spec :) on the red one , all Manual Spyders are rare only about 100 uk cars in total split that down to colours and each colour is a rare colour. Red, white, Black, Blue, Silver, cream, PTS so only a hand full of any colour.

Split that down again for Manual, Buckets and Spyder wheels, the ideal spec and 1/2 that again to 50 cars.

I would say the red car you own is Timbo's he has a PTS 981 on the way.

prob goes for manuals. but that's a pie in the sky guess ;-)

White 35

Black 23

Silver 21

Red 15

Blue 4

Cream 1

PTS 1

Rocket Man - Did you let the Spyder go with all the exterior and interior mods in place or did you have to revert back to stock look again
