yes I wonder if they will recall the Spyder as it's not a track car, so will be rare to pop the weld for road use.
How do they actually fix this issue[&:]MrDemon said:paul08 said:There has been a recent recall on gearboxes for the GT4. Is this an issue for the 981 Spyder too?

All GT4 after say Nov 2015 to mid 2016 are getting complete new gearboxes, these have proper splined 3rd gear.
Spyder was out the same time so it seems odd no recall for them !

Not moved but those 2 houses were built and remain unsold due to the times are a changing especially in London [] so I thought I would take a few cheeky pics whilst they remain unsold
Now using an amazing fast detailer spray P & S Bead Maker that really makes it "pop"

I'd be happy to provided full specs, history and photos etc to anyone who messages me. I have not advertised the car anywhere, or told anyone of my intentions to sell, other than this message as yet. I would rather sell her to another Porsche enthusiast, who will cherish it as Robert and I have done. Can there be another Porsche in the country (let alone a Spyder) with 3 x 3rd place wins in it's history - probably not. This certainly is excellent provenance. All the best to everyone, Dave
Good luck with the 991 Jet Black you will be using that Bead Maker every wash or two []Dylan1 said:I’ve just bought that detailed too!!
andi wish I’d known your old spyder was coming available Robert - I really loved how you looked after that
but I’ve just bought a 991.1
maybe a spyder will still make it one day
I will try and keep you in mind when the current Spyder needs a new home
Anyone looking for s superb spec and condition 987 Spyder should checkout crocket's example as I know he heaped as much love & care on it as I did for the first 4 years ownership
