Bedford Trackday

Same as last year Andrew, take a day off and bring the Goldie see if she can go round all day the right way this year [:D][:D]

ORIGINAL: Copperman05 Haha, I was just finding the (my) limits! Just as well the new cars got DSC!
Which you will, naturally, be switching off. You wouldn't want to be thought of as a big girl's blouse who can't get round a circuit without the aid of some computers, would you? [8D]

Absolutly, if your facing the right way your not trying hard enough! Can I assume then Glenn you will also be joining us on track to show of your driving skills? About time isn't it?[;)] Edd

I was discussing this with Andy earlier. As much as I'd like to, I was in so much pain after driving the 15 minutes or so on the Porsche test track at Silverstone in the 991 C2S last year that I have to conclude that a whole track day would inevitably lead to more surgery on my spine. Then we need to factor in that I have few driving skills to show off [8D]

ooh… there's me sitting at the front of the queue. Waiting to be let out on track and immediately passed by every other car out there with me! I guess i should sign up and do it again. Would I be turned away if i showed up driving something with the engine in the middle? or the back?

Ian, of course you won't be turned away you have that great badge at the front. If you choose have the engine in a funny place that's up to you [:D][:D] Staying over the night before again?

oh no, i just checked the dates. I'll be speaking at a conference in Berlin on June 2, so won't be able to make it. :-(

Disagree entirely. a generic term is as you say hoover for all vacuum cleaners, and biro for all ball point pens, as well as hardy spicer for all u/js and so on, so you cant differentiate like that, it would be like calling all upright vacuum cleaners hoovers and all bagless or cylinder vacuum cleaners something else or all ball point pens biros exept the bic which must be called a bic. Sadly I can't afford to wear out another set of pirellis this year so the mobile chicane will not be putting in an apearance, and being a poor pensioner I need to save my lolly for the Le Mans classic. I hope you all have a brilliant day in nice dry weather, and that those who had tiny niggles have got them sorted and it doesn't spoil you fun.

I am but a novice but I have booked! Looking forward to it and seeing/meeting some of you then. pengers Andy Watson - 944S Craig Lewis - 944T Frank Griffin 944T Pete -944T Paul Willis - Edd Mortimer -M135i Mike P - 944T

My big issue is I have the family holiday ending on the Sunday and a works conference on the Tuesday. Clearly taking the day off in between would be daft. So, I just booked [8|] Looking forward to it again this year. The car is just getting the exhaust altered in order not to get the noise boards waved at me again! Hope it doesn't knock any bhp off it being quieter [:D] Cheers Mick

Depending on a couple of things I may well add my name to the list, but my weekends until the summer all seem to have something on!
