I know it's a 964 hence I posted it there, but I still spend more time here. Thanks to my pet photographer uploading today I now have before and after pics of the C4. I'm quite pleased with it, although I'll be happier when the new mirrors are on too.

Very nice, like the scripts ,sort of old school but suit the more modern looking car. I was thinking of trying to fit some front ducts into my bumper as the look a simillar shape are they plumbed in ??

They are just for show for now, though I will run ducting from them some time as I don't like things that don't work.

It's difficult to find any to suit the 944 Turbo front, though if you do find any I'll have a pair too.

Im wanting a set for the 968 front bumper,i will probably go for the 993 ones as they look a bit slimmer than the 964's. The only 944 turbo ive seen with brake ducts had the holes mounted in the badge panel !!!

A shop in the south of France still makes them (I think).

Erm, silly Q but what do you do about the lights that were replaced?

Oli.

nice Fen - dont keep them standard for long do you ;)

On his 944 Fen runs his side lights behind clear indicator lenses - there is a section in the indicators that is fine for that,
Tony

Looking good Fen!

Its got to be tempting to get a 3.8 low compression twin turbo setup together with the autronic you have going spare :)

Can I interest you in a spare 964 3.6 engine that I may have laying around :)

Thom, that's not exactly the style I have in mind even if it's the same concept. I'd prefer more of a funnel than just a hole, more like this

Oli, After some searching effort I present you this: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=69256&mpage=3&key=parking&#120262

Tony, standard is merely the blank canvas Porsche provided us with.

Jon, perish the thought of 3.8 twin turbo conversions. I take it though (hypothetically of course) that the plumbing for the 993TT would bolts up? The Autronic isn't going spare, it's just resting. Colin at Ninemeister did put forward an interesting suggestion that it could be moved between the cars as required however...

I phoned them this morning and they still make them, either in fiber glass (€150) or in carbon (€240). Send me an e-mail if you are interested.

I know I am about to make myself feel old by saying something that when I was younger I promised myself I would never say.... But "in my day" boy racers (me included) brought things like a Kent cam, a pair of side draught carbs, a 4-2-1 or 4-1 manifold, 5 link suspension, an LSD and goodies that made the car faster.

Now... it seems to be a lot of money being spent on a poxy 1.1 engined @#%??... not only that, but the money being spent seems to be used in the worst possible taste... almost like body kit companies are trying to think "what would look stupid" or "how can I make this Saxo look even more dumb".....

With this mentality going on... where is the future in UK motorsport?

Or is it just me?
