If anyone is interested, or knows someone who may be interested, I have 2 full day sessions available at Blyton and 2 morning half day sessions. Please e-mail me ASAP or leave message below!

Hi Gavin, We will take that afternoon half day for Christine in the Boxster if its still available please? Thanks

Gavin, Earlier this year you asked for helpers on the day. Happy to do so - what time do you need me there? Andrew

Thanks Craig, I will sort it out on Friday for Christine. Andrew. could you please be at Blyton around 8:15, if not, any time you can make it would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Weather forecast for Friday is good, light cloud 15 degrees and gentle NE wind. Rain is clearing from the NE and is expected to have finished by early Thursday. No further rain to blow in for a few days after the event. Look forward to seeing you all for a full house entry. 5 groups in all, Graduate, Novice, Graduate, Novice, Graduate then start again. Finishing with open pit session and corporate rides.

Just got back from a truly wonderful day. Many thanks to Richard and Gavin for some fantastic organisation (including a dry day). Great support from Ben and the guys at Rennspeed and AW too. Many thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome despite not having a Porsche. Really enjoyed meeting lots of old friends and some new ones too. Hope we can get to the next pub night. Once again many thanks to all.

Just a quick thank you to everyone involved in making today a great success. A great day was had by all I think, well me certainly. It was great to meet old and new faces. Hope there is another day this year at Blyton. Great work Richard and Gavin. :)

Same sentiments echoed, thanks to all the organizers and marshalls and the girls in the cafe ;) .... However DJ Marky Mark (I think I heard that name before?) WHY NO Porsche??? [:D][:D][:D][:D]

I agree with the previous two comments, great day, nice little track, no real incidents that I could see, thanks to all the organisers and marshals, really nice bunch.... Well done Gavin and friends, I would definitely go to Blyton again. Ian

Thanks to every one for tuning up, 37 drivers is a superb turnout. Richard Usher, Jane and all the team made us feel very welcome once again; it's always a pleasure to be at your circuit. Drivers and driving standards were superb throughout the day, the atmosphere in the paddock was so relaxed and friendly. Rod, Cliff and Andew thanks for your work to make the day run smoothly and keep all the drivers informed about the sessions. AW Repair Group (Sleaford) thanks for your support and assistance. Ben at Rennspeed, thanks for all your help especially with the guys with problems; we hope to see a lot more of you at R4. Porsche Nottingham, always a pleasure to see you although the new Cayman looked so lonely being left all alone in the paddock whilst all it's cousins were playing on the track. Mark, thanks very much for my early Christmas present, it was an undeniable pleasure that had me smiling ear to ear; and what a superb noise! Finally, PCGB Motorsport, thanks for having the confidence to let us run this event, all the team and drivers appreciate it. Photos will be sent out as soon as I get them all.

Gavin, Can I add my thanks to you and everyone else who contributed to making it such a great day out. As an out-of-region participant, I certainly agree with your comment about the relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the paddock where I met and chatted with some very nice people. Having started the day as a "novice", it was great to get the thumbs-up from you and Mike to go it alone and I was even asked to give someone a ride - hope I didn't scare them too much..! And a particular thanks to Robert for giving me a very enjoyable super-quick ride in his excellent 997 GT3 RS. Very interesting to experience what's it's like to ride in track-focused car compared with my Cayman. Speaking of which, I was disappointed to see that apart from Andy Fagans car, mine was the only Cayman on track; hopefully we'll be seeing more of them on future track days. Jeff

Ditto to the above We both had a great day with you guys and gals. Our faithful Boxster did the job beautifully again. Thanks to Mark for Kerry's ride in the Ferrari............ride in a Maclaren last week, Ferrari this week - great fun The format works really well, well done and a big thank you to everyone Our third track day with region 4 and 'we will be back' [;)] [:)] Kerry and Tom

Just to add my sincere thanks for a truly enjoyable day! well done Richard, Gavin and all those others who helped produce the day. One of the most memorable outcomes of the day for me was meeting a lot of nice people. The only 'downside' for me is now I have to search for a 964 RS (Ian, you've got a lot of explaining to do to Karen!!!) Thank you all. Kev

The Blyton Novice Track day yesterday was just brilliant (thanks Gavin). I managed to build on my Roadcraft skills and started to really explore just what a 911 can do on a track .... and finally discovered the pure joy of steering on the throttle ... Magic!! The format and organisation worked really well. A big thank you to the instructors and the sponsors and the technical help from Renspeed. Also thanks to everyone in R4 for being so friendly and helpful. A perfect day ..!

Here's a video of us having great fun following Mark in the Ferrari with Simon sat in for some pax laps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGf_KRLBPjw&feature=youtu.be

I'd like to add my thanks the Richards and Gavin and their support teams for setting up a friendly place to enjoy our cars as they're meant to be used. Same again soon, please! Robert

Just to echo the previous comments, thanks guys for a great day. But need to say a special thank you to the guys from Rennspeed who put so much effort into sorting out my 2.4 that expired as I was leaving the circuit. nothing seemed to be too much trouble, and when we couldn't trace the fault they made sure it was secure over night AND got me to a station to get home. Finally they fixed it today and rang with the good news. All this after bleeding the brakes earlier int the day. Can't speak highly enough of them - nice meeting such a helpful and knowledgable crew! Tony

Thanks Gav for a great afternoon, thoroughly enjoyed it in the M3, but as good as it is, it ain't ever going to be in the same league as the RS! [8D] Its the only time I've really missed it, but miss it I did....
