we had a great day out my thanks go to those that organised for us to attend...well done. shame the weather decided to do its worst, but it didn't dampen our enjoyment of the event,
we were very impressed with the RAF catering. ÂŁ1.50 for a huge bagette full of freshly roasted and cut meat, amazing. [8D]

Just the one dousing for us, a good deal of sun and a good day out.

A big thanks from Jane and I for all those who made it and we hope you enjoyed it.

Not bad for a freebie!

JCB..

Larry and i had a brilliant time and only left early as we had to sort out a lot of stuff for region 8 concours bright and early on the sunday, plus we wanted to watch sport aid[:)]

I had a great day out, our thanks to the organisers. We ended up like proper plane spot'ers, got my chairs and umbrella, sat on the flightline and had a great afternoon.Popped off to find a cup of tea every so often. Did anybody else stay to see the model Globemaster fly, with 4 jet engines.. Went to say goodbye !! see photo, I had to go back to Birmingham to drop my passenger off so went via Evesham and ended up going up Fish Hill twice, if you on the Hill at the time, sorry!![] and get a move on[8D]
Thanks again.

Thank you to the Club organisers for a great day out. We managed to avoid the rainy spells by hiding in the beer tent.

We stayed to the very end and were treated to a fantastic display by the model Globemaster, including the dropping of a miniature parachute. Just how do you make a jet engine that small? Leaving was absolutely no problem, both inside the base and outside on the roads. Please add my name to any note of thanks sent to RAF Brize Norton for their immaculate organisation.

I have posted a few photos here.

I looked up to see the C17 and thought it was being racked around a bit, turns out it was the model !! Stunning.

Great afternoon out.

I wanted to take the white Jag XK120 home with me, what a lovely car.

Freebie???? We made a substantial donation to the station charity........

Tks for the pix Brian -my lads have taken LOADS!! Just need somewhere to host them...

Just to add my thanks from myself and my son Andrew to those who arranged the day. The Tornado display made my boys day!!

I have to agree with gaxor, the Tornado coming across in front of us firstly in total silence and then Bamm, was jaw dropping.
