ORIGINAL: Buddy Hi Peter, I've just checked the register list and you're not on it! Can you please fill in the necessary form? Of course if you already have then I'll be informed soon. If you pass me your email address I can email it to you. Meantime, welcome.[;)]
Sorry - I have not filled out a form yet. Please email me: prbdirector@porscheclubgb.com Thank you (sorry - started to edit your post by mistake - oops)

Just got my first Porsche, a 981 Cayman S. R17 south. I have just got my club membership pack through, so I guess I am a member now.

Welcome aboard Jason. I'll include you on the list. Don't forget to put your name and car details on the Cayman Register (see above). Enjoy the car. Jeff

Hi All Just moved to a 981 Cayman S after having 4 911's, the last of which was a 997 C2S. A very different car and I'm loving it. I assume I send the completed register document to club head office. Kevan, if you see Randolph at your club night could you give him a register sticker to pass on to me please. ** Edited to say I'm from R7 ** Thanks

Hi David, Welcome to this part of the forum and to Cayman ownership too. A great choice of car which I'm sure you'll not regret. I've put you on the list on Page 4 (although this made need some updating by now.!). Jeff

Hello guys. Just joined so no photos yet. My cayman is 2010 in aqua blue metallic, pdk box as I have been converted from stick change, down to my other balancing an auto mini roadster. Hoping to become a frequent poster on the site. I am in region 05, first meeting this Wednesday at porsche centre Wilmslow. Steve.

See you there Steve although I will be passengering in my pal's red 964 rather than my Cayman. R5 is well organised by a great committee - I'm sure most if not all of them will be there. Make sure you introduce yourself - unless you are a social animal it can be quite daunting to integrate into an established group of friends for the first time so if they know you are there, it will help them look after you! It will be a great first event to attend. Unlike regular R5 nights, the committee needs to know numbers in advance for the Wilmslow Porsche Centre event for catering purposes - Alan Crosby is on 01744 894500 or r5@porscheclubgb.com if you haven't already made contact. Hope you enjoy your car and welcome to the Club!

Hi Steve, Good to have another Cayman owner on here and look forward to hearing from you. You're on the Page 4 list and welcome to the Club. Enjoy the car. Jeff

Jeff / Rob. Thanks for the welcome. Can't wait to get involved with the club. Had the car 4 weeks now just getting the hang of it, unbelievably brilliant to drive, great road manners, making me look like a decent driver. Already booked for the Wilmslow jaunt Jeff, thanks for the advice. I notice talk about getting Cayman crew out together for a drive, think that's a great idea. Look forward to meeting up. Be careful out there!!! Steve.

New Year's resolutions are to join in on the forum and attend a R11 or R12 meet. I live on the border of Essex and Suffolk so both are in reasonable reach but the Norfolk location gives me a good excuse to survey the country roads!! So - first resolution completed and hopefully February will see the second one duly ticked off the list. Cheers Mike

Hi Mike, and welcome to this part of the forum. Looking forward to hearing from you in the future now that you've made a start. I'd definitely recommend that you get along to a Club meeting to have a chat with like-minded Porsche enthusiasts, as a result of which you'll hopefully decide to become a member and get the full benefits of Club membership. Enjoy your Cayman. Jeff

Hi Kevan, i told you i would join the club again one day. Sorry i haven't got a Cayman yet, still got the 914 and another Boxster. I've started the 914 resto and it's going for the respray in three weeks plus engine upgrade/rebuild at the same time. I've had the 914 for twenty five years now, yea time flies. Should see you at an event this year with any luck. Regards Matt (don't mention Lemans)

Hi Don Noticed your post we spoke some years about the Daytona 24HR still never made it[:(] Hope you are well .I have a Boxster Spyder and a 944 at present. Planning on doing the Silverstone Classic this year . Regards Brian

Hi Guys, I bought my Cayman R back in January and it's been a hoot! Spec: Speed Yellow Manual Bucket Seats Gloss Black Alloys (refurbed by a previous owner). Interestingly, the car was used by Fifth Gear, as well as others, for reviews. The car actually features in Fifth Gears video on YouTube where Jason drove it around Rockingham. I'm based in Leicester but I'm also in Surrey a fair bit. The picture I've attached was taken just after it had been detailed.
