Its a shame that a great day was had but this thread end up like this [] it really doesn't inspire people including myself to be bothered to try and put events on.

I'd sincerely hope that you take from this thread the unanimous view that you're efforts were much appreciated, as always, and the cruise was superbly put together and organised for the benefit of all of us. Also that the general view is that pictures are welcomed and unlikely to be a problem although Alex obviously have a valid point. I concur that we drive around in these things in the public gaze anyway (btw I put my own picture of my car on the forum because no one else would!!!).
I'd hate to think that you'd be put off continuing your sterling efforts on behalf of the register and we're already looking forward to Gaydon and a foreign trip later this year would be very tempting.

Indeed, Gary's efforts can't be applauded enough.
I forgot my camera on the day but I did snap a few iPhone pics. Not the greatest but better than nothing...
Pls don't feel disgruntled; the many clearly appreciate your efforts and I would love to get out with everyone as soon as possible - if I didn't keep buying Porsches I wouldn't have to work so hard - vicious circle!! For me and just for the record I have no problem with my plate being posted either - infact I' so proud of it I'd be disappointed if it wasn't.
I will try to get out with everyone and will offer any help I can organisation wise whenever you need it.
Cheers,
Darren.
