Come and Exhibit @ the Stoke Goldington Steam Rally - 7th & 8th May

polishing assistance

Mitch is making up a sling now. All I need to do, is trap my finger in one of the kitchen drawers and tomorrow someone can clean my car [;)]

I think I developed "trigger finger" today (Oooeer missus) whilst demonstrating the "magic spray" on your car.

Good day out and great to meet a few more club members.

Good to see you with us Ravi - I do hope your kids weren't too bored ! You have a cracking car and hope we see you and it at another event in the near future. Did you take more pictures ? I think the ones you have posted are great .

Cheers

"I like your shoes..."

LOL

I actually told Mitch I liked her shoes so photoshop me into that pic somewhere.

Those coppers were good guys, one of them had just been to the Porsche museum.

Hi all,

Phrase of the day for me was when a family walked upto Maxine (aged 37) at the turbo Cab
and said..... "and what's a young blondie girl like you doing with a nice car like this ?"

At which point i'm sure that i could have come up with an equally condesending reply, but my wife
being the diplomat that she is, just diffused the situation by saying it was due to the apparent
economic situation of her husband, or something like that[;)] !!!

Maybe they would have been happier if she had a Citroen Saxo VTS or something like !!!!

Steve,

Many thanks for organising such a great day out and the chance to meet and talk with new people from another region. Well worth the trip from Essex.

Took a lot of pictures but as I am still in the dark ages of film they will have to wait until I get them developed.

Thanks again. Maybe see some of you at Bowood House on 22nd May.

Michael.

Indeed - Mitch said it was a hoot ! How Mrs Mc kept her cool was beyond reproach

"Bravo" -they cried

Just got in from the Sunday event. What a good turnout, there were sooooo many people (and it can't have been the weather, because it was very changeable)

I too now have a red face from hell.

Thanks for organising this Steve and nice to meet THBoxster from the forum. I have to say my favourite car of the day was the 718 Spyder replica. It's for sale and at a reasonable price too [:-]

Whilst driving home with the top down, and even with the stereo turned up, had the great pleasure of hearing the thundering clatter of gareth's machine catching me up.

As we went our seperate ways at the round about in Roade, I swear that the locals though the earth was about to explode!

Awesome engine sound.

( I also seem to be suffering from SG Red Face syndrome ).

Great day (and Night!!) out -thanx for arranging this Steve!!

Mel, Alex, Sue, + Duke 'n' Julie.

It sounds like the Sunday was as enjoyable as Saturday - weather included!!

Anybody got any pics from Sunday yet???

Regards

Dave

Steve

Can I add my own "well done" for organising this again. Sorry that we were unable to get there - the pictures and feedback show it was great event despite Nature's attempts at disruption. What is it about the May Bank Holiday weather??

Good luck too with the Summer BBQ at Emberton next month.

(And can I remind everyone that there is a R10 presence at the Althorp Country Fair on 30 May[:)]).

Cheers

We don't appear to have a region in the gallery, so i'll drop in some single photos here.

Bright start to the day (but windy), cars lined up with laser precision.

Weather blew by and all the tops came off again.

Notice the big white tent on the far side. Biggest tent there - Beer tent
