Early911.co.uk - RSR replica's

Just wondering if all the niggles got sorted on this one and how the car performs? It looks fabulous. And a quick further question. Are the arches on the Supersport the same as the RSR? I note that some builders (RS911 for example) use their own when recreating the RSR

After an unexpected trip to tuthills i got the car back today. Its not longer sending me off the road every time i have to brake, it has 14 litres of oil in it (not the nine it came with) which is no longer sprayed over the engine thanks to an oil catch tank
I didn't get to test it out much (due to all the jams today) but with a little bit of tuthill magic the handling/braking is spot on. perky and nimble but way too noisy.

I won't go into the long list of things tuthills did on my car, but tomorrow when it's light I'll go and take some photos of the highlights.

I look forward to it! I am contemplating going down the same RSR replica route myself, so I have been very interested in progress to date. I recently drove an RS replica but with a Tuthill prepared correct 2.7RS engine which was fantastic, it just pulled and pulled and I regret not buying it now. I think it would have made a great starting point for an RSR replica.

The brake bias mod looks neat. Is that a modified servo unit (ie do you still have servo brakes) ?

Ian.

ORIGINAL: smtk

nop no more servo

So just a remote bias kit. I have seen these before but not one adapted to a 911. Seems a much simpler solution than modifying the pedal box.

Are you taking your car to the Fairmile tonight?

Ian.

Yes i should be at the fairmile around 7.30/8ish (depending on the girlfriend)

I have to say i like the none servo more, on light aplications the car doesnt over brake but when you really step on them all the power is still there.
Also paint in that red patch under the servo so all looks good now [:D] althought the race pads are going too sqeaky for london
