GTS 4.0

Sounds about right to me.

I’ve a similar spec (no Bose but with PDK) and mileage and that’s what I’d expect mine to sell for if it ever came to it.

id go and have a serious look sooner rather than later as it would appear a good spec GTS 4.0 doesn’t hang around for long.

Dan.

Anybody else having trouble fitting Zunsport front grilles? Fitted the middle one, but it looks a bit ill-fitting and aftermarket? The outer ones I cannot see that they fit at all.

Was so pleased with the kit on my 981 which fitted well and added to the appearance?

(photos to follow when I work out how. I think the files are too big?)

I enquired with Zunsport about getting grilles for mine, but they asked when the car was built and said that the grilles were not compatible with the newer cars as Porsche had slightly changed the design... :-/

Hi Keith,

My Zunsports fit fine once I had worked out how to fit the outer ones. The middle took a bit of adjusting so it sits correctly.

As to not fitting later models, I don't think that is correct as I bought mine off a forum member that had sold his 2021 GTS 4.0 and mine is 2023 and no issues with fitment. I fact I would say they look better than the ones on my old 981 did.

I will try to get some photos and upload.

Rob

If you are close enough to Knaresborough in Yorkshire you could do worse than get RPM Specialist Cars to fit them for you. They are Zunsport dealer and have done hundreds of them. Thoroughly nice guys too, and very reasonable.

To resize ... right click on the photo / picture - from the menu select OPEN WITH - from the menu select PAINT - from the toolbar at the top of the page select RESIZE - menu should open with the picture showing PERCENTAGE and 100 (%) - change this figure to 50 (%) and then SAVE it ... this should reduce the size below the 1500 byte limit for posting, if not resize to an appropriate %

Fitted to my23 Boxster GTS no issues really pleased with the fit and look.

bought them in 2021 when OPC said I would get the car.

Thanks Andrew for instruction on reducing file size.

Such a faff I haven't bothered to do the grilles.

My nearest agent is Carnoisseur Bishop Stortford. Might go and have a word with them?

Keith, you really shouldn't need to have someone else fit them, I have taken mine off several times to clear out minute debris.

Initially I had them the wrong way around but realised.

I have lots of photos for you👍

I'm having similar problems to Keith fitting the Zunsport grilles to my 2023 Cayman GTS. I thought it would be easy from reading about others experiences in fitting.

I got the central grille kind of in place but it wasn't secure and whatever I did I couldn't get the tabs to click in and secure.

I gave up after this as I had already scratched the underside of the aperture (grey/black plastic). I had taped off the painted areas at risk of being scratched.

Rob could you send me the photo's too, if I give you my email address?

Mark

Mark, glad its not just me. Wonder if the rim type makes a difference?

My 981 had shiny black uprated apertures. My 718 has the standard matt plastic apertures? Keith

Sure Mark,

Just PM me your email.

I will get the car out tomorrow and get some close up photos of the clips. You do have to lever the clips over the plastic with a long, thin screwdriver.

Mine came off an earlier car with matt plastic trim.

Thanks Rob, I'll send you a PM.

I think it would help if I knew, at least by feel what the clips are supposed to go round.

Well that was easy!

Thee upper outers went straight in. Bottom outers were a bit of a b****r, requiring more brute strength than I would have liked!

The middle I had already done, but not so happy with. I've got ACC, there is only one pair of clips, and it pulls out easily.

Thanks for your input Rob.

Mark its not very intuitive, but a bit of gentle alignment, bottom edge first and they eventually pop in to place. Bottom outers were a bit difficult. I have an old philips screwdriver with the last 15mm of the blade bent over at 90' and it is the perfect tool.

Looks great. I’ve never looked into the grills before, where do you buy them from? are there just general gts4.0 versions or do they breakdown into different years?

Odd request, would you mind measuring your stick on plate? I’ve got a 7 digit plate I want to stick on but not sure what size I should go with and yours looks to fit nicely! Cheers
