The middle I had already done, but not so happy with. I've got ACC, there is only one pair of clips, and it pulls out easily.

Mark its not very intuitive, but a bit of gentle alignment, bottom edge first and they eventually pop in to place. Bottom outers were a bit difficult. I have an old philips screwdriver with the last 15mm of the blade bent over at 90' and it is the perfect tool.

The only issue I have now is that for some reason the centre grills still lets in small debris that sits along the bottom of the radiator, so I am going to have to remove this every so often and get a hoover in to remove. It may have just been the last couple of trips have been in harvesting time with lots of hay around on the roads?

 
I've had Zunsports for nearly 15 years. Small items such as shredded flies, road dust etc get through and eventually build up in small quantities depending on your mileage of course. I remove the grilles annually (or before visiting an OPC for service!) and vacuum out using a flexible hose taped to the end of my vacuum cleaner nozzle which reaches right into the corners. Seems to have worked so far.

 
Just fitted a cargraphic exhaust valve controller late this afternoon. hope this may help any body wanting to do there own

Removal and refitting carpet/sound insulation is the hardest part, a couple of good youtube vids help.

Cover the rear boot lid when you remove/refit the engine cover as its very close to the lid and has sharp metal edges.

I fitted the controller on the inside of the bulkhead in the engine compartment with attached double sided pad as. recommended by cargraphic.

Fitted the earth cable to a T30 screw holding a vacuum line bracket to top of engine.

Left all vacuum lines in place, and used a long pick to unclip the grey tab on the connector to release, pull the plug up slightly with pick so you can get hold of it, and plug in to connector from controller.

The other controller plug now plugs into the one on the engine, a long flat bladed screwdriver works fine

You can now start the car and test with the remote key fob. And put the car back together.

 
I’m having my car graphic fitted next week.

I got it from Scuderia and its the latest version that isn’t fitted in the engine bay - it’s fitted directly into the electronics that control the valves in the cabin - the valves are then controlled by the SE button in the cabin rather than a remote.

the unit is installed under the pasenger seat apparently but I’ll let the fitter worry about that 😂

Will fo.low this with interest. Another forum member has fitted one of these and feels there is significantly more drone from the exhaust at motorway speeds and it seems to detract from the induction sound.

Met another owner of an identically specced car to mine at Beaulieu, he was changing the intake filters, which apparently takes up the intake noise to another level.

 
I know this is a very OCD question, but how are you guys/girls avoiding sticky finger prints and dents on the paintwork when closing boot lid now that the useful Model Badge has gone ?

Bugs the heck of me also, but I am similarly very OCD.

I have a microfibre cloth which I keep at the side of my seat and use this to close the boot lid, or my sweatshirt sleeve, or a tissue. I already have a small mark, which I am sure is from one of my wife's rings😡

 
If you're talking about the rear hatch, I just use the handle on the inside trim and give it a good pull. It does close much easier if one of the doors is open as the internal air pressure is reduced.

Hi Dan, glad I am not the only one, i guess the Cayman has enough weight in hatch, the alloy lid on Boxster needs a good push 😱

 
Dan, I am talking about the Boxster boot not Cayman boot. I presumed the OP was also talking about this.

The 981 Boxster used to have the badge on the boot, which I used to press to close. The 718 badge is below the spoiler now, leaving nowhere to press apart from the bodywork.

 
On the Boxster I'd probably do the same as Jurassic but with the fear of it scratching it would send my OCD into overdrive!

I guess back in the day, we would all have been wearing driving gloves 🤣 Maybe a strip of PPF would do the trick 🤔

 
I have to admit that until this thread took this somewhat peculiar direction, I hadn't given one milliseconds thought as to how I shut my boot lid!

And I don't wear gloves to protect my race tex steering wheel. I do wear them when my hands are cold though.

 
I can't stand race-tex or alcantara by any name, to me it's like touching peach skin or licking a lolly stick.

Good old leather any day 🙂
