How is this possible?

Nice one Peter, a true enthusiast being allocated a car. If only all Porsche Centres took that approach, at least for a reasonable percentage of customers, then some of us could still have hope.

Excellent news, Peter.
Well done - Club Sport with all the trimmings - Lesley will love it! :ROFLMAO:

Clive

Excellent news Peter and well done to your OPC.

I have really enjoyed my 991 GT 3 with every drive a special occaision. Janet has found it very comfortable (well perfectly acceptable) and the bandwidth the car has is quite remarakable. If I can help at all dont hesitate to get in touch. I am a manual fan but the PDK box has been so good I would go that way again if I had the chance. You will need very fast hands and legs if you go manual.

Sadly my car will be going on the market in August to make way for a competitors product so if any one wants a much loved 991 GT 3 it will be at Silverstone Classic and Beaulieu

I have just booked Finland again and many of the courses are already full with waiting lists so the world really has gone crazy. Porsche now offer a 2 day course driving only Cup Cars and GT3 RS with individual tution but is a bit on the pricey side

Thanks for the kind words chaps, and yes it will be RED. In the context of the thread and the OP I think Dick Lovett Swindon have been transparent with me. They have been quite candid as to their selection of their top customers for the halo cars, but also in my case rewarding a long history of brand allegiance, not just the frequency and quantity of purchasing.

Loving my first Porsche, but the reality is, that this practice means this will be my last Porsche. There is simply nowhere for me to go from here.
My next step would be to a GT3, and I won't get one, I'm certainly not prepared to throw money at a brand to become their special friend, in order to get one.

so I'll enjoy this car, then see what the competitors have, Porsches are good cars, but they are not the only good car. Sad really....
