I just drove the 'Ring in the Yellow Bird!

ORIGINAL: hotblack944

half a bottle of red [:D]

LAP DISALLOWED [;)]

I hate red wine but am willing to take it up if it will help me

Too easy.

First time out on Soft Sports....

There's at least another 15 seconds off that too.

For anybody wanting to get under 9mins, just spend all Sunday on Road tyres, trying to get under 9mins (not that I'm bitter or competative[:D])

Well done Jim and Carl, I have been mostly filling my garage so haven't had many goes at 'the challenge' still around 9.30 so no need to worry yet.
When we all meeting up with link cables?

Getting better, but packed in for Footie.

Anybody got any recommendations for something to drive that's got similar weight and power to the 944T?

.... And buy the way - is it just me, or has the max file size to upload gone down?

I've been spending my GT time in career mode of late but i promise i'll be back to the G4 challenge soon.
On the subject of link ups, i have the relevent hub for linking 6 consoles together but still have only managed a 2 console link so far. Makes the game even more fun even with only 2 cars on the grid.
So does any one know how to link up on line?

That was with no driver aids - I think they would slow you down anyway once you've got the hang of it, as you can't point the car where you want!

Am going to give it another shot before Newcastle stuff Sporting Lisbon tonight!

I know how to switch off the ghost car!
If you press the up directional button the ghost car just dissapears. How cool is that?[:D]

Damn -you've discovered my favourite car- -the Ginetta. Handful, ain't it!!

I used to have a Ginetta [;)] V8 powered G27 (same as G4 or at least developed from the G4)

Fantastic handling..for real

Just come back from the RMA event at the ring and managed to do a 9:40 Bridge to gantry in my S2 on road tyres. Im pretty sure that there is at least another 45 secs to come off but that will have to wait until June!

Well the game progresses and I now have a tuned Ruf Boxster and fair monster spec Skyline providing fair domination in the National B Profesional Events so the question now:-

Do I buy the Ruf GT3 or the Ford GT? (If only GT4 was real life [8|])

Can't be asked to do National A yet but I have little doubt that I'm going to have to soon.

Other questions:-

1. Are the race win concept cars, of no value, worth keeping for racing or do they just clutter your garage?

2. Can you do anything with the Caterham or did I just waste my money?

3. What car do you use for the Amateur Events short car race?

4. What car do you use for the European events under 1000k car?

Amateur short car I used a second hand Suzuki Cappuccino tuned to 107bhp. I think you win a Ginetta in that one.

I haven't played it for a while now - at risk of sounding totally geeky I have been playing World of Warcraft instead [&:]
