Just found this car

In some sort of perverse way I kind of like the pink wheels on a blue car. Not for every day though. It gives it that race car, "here's what we had lying around" look. [:D]

Chris

you're clearly in touch with your feminine side [:D], and you've got much time on your hands with all this wheel changing and spacer malarky....

just drive it [;)]

cheers
David

It's tentatively suggested that Paul will put them on his Rubystone car --- should he ? [:D]

...and we all will wear suspenders and high heels in case we will share the pit with Paul at Spa next time...

Isn't that the standard uniform under the overalls anyway?

Seriously worried about your brand new marriage, Rich...... and yes, standard, but no high heels for the right foot, heel and toe, you know?

P.S.: I think, I´m a lumberjack and I´m ok!

You're all cheeky rascals! You bunch of ladyboys!

Says the guy with the pink car![:D]

...hello Paul!
See you all at the Blue Oyster bar?!
(Remeber the film Police Academy?) [:D]

I seem to remember a couple of months ago there was a widebody cup car on mobile.de. Can't remember if it was running a 3.6 or 3.8 but it had the 3.8RS Speedlines and certainly looked the part. Was up for 48K Euros.

returning to the original theme of this thread.......

I've just found this 964RSR.....

http://www.edmondharris.com/

there's also a 964 lwt RHD Rubystone at Hairpin,

http://www.thehairpincompany.co.uk/

Chris W - perhaps you should contact Hairpin and offer them some matching wheels [:D]

any ideas what the asking prices of these two are likely to be?

The first one will be a hell of a lot and the second one will be a lot[:D]

I'll guess the first one is north of £200k....

RSR at EH came in from Chicago 18 months ago, was bought at discount price because there were a number of parts missing that it would have left the factory with. Don't believe these have been replaced but it is a race car after all !!

Will be very interesting to see what it goes for - consider that EH sold a yellow 3.8 RSR 24 months ago that was considerably more correct, with very few miles on.

Ultimate RSR race car to own would surely be the Spa winning car which lives or lived in NZ and was recently for sale.

Isn't it annoying when advertisers put POA?

think Pauls car is still in NZ and is always for sale at the right price. Last time I asked him the right price was well north of 300,000 euros.....

Well The Hairpin car is Robert's --- I know he was thinking of selling it because he was intimidated at the thought of throwing £60k around a track.

Two thoughts.

1. What will The Hairpin be asking ?

2. At what will it sell ?

As far as EH is concerned, the C4 doesn't seem to float anybody's boat ?

Hacki, what do you think ?

P.S. The pink wheels are Alloys, not mags, 7 and 9J ET55's. From a standard C2. Paul ? [:)]

The C4 RS will be big money too and really only a collector is going to go for that I think

The C4 lwt was never a great car to have - from my point of view. It´s a 4wd car, 16" wheels, short axle (slow topspeed), totally overrated, not road legal, if my memory is correct, - so what is it for? Sounds like a gravel toy for Finland...(which is probably great fun, but a totally different story)

It was only made, because there were so many parts left and trying to make money out of rare sportscars was just beginning. I remember two out of those 20 cars that should be sold when they were new...should be sold. Nobody was seriously interested. I think the dealership lost a lot of money. Finally they went out the door...cheap, about 17 years ago. Nothing has really changed ever since. Only a collector could be a potential buyer.

The comment in the EH advertisement is BS.

What Hacki said....I was just to lazy to go into detail!

Didn't they all go to the US for a race series there that then got scrapped because the regs changed? Or am I now mixing it up with something else.....

I remember they had weird ratio's and not a very high top speed

Not sure, but I don´t think so. Wasn´t that the series with these strange TOYO sponsored Cup car lookalikes?
