Midnight Blue RS

ORIGINAL: 964RS
ORIGINAL: Scott R (thought it had CS larger spoilers?) Scott R
It did. I went to see the monkeys about 2(!) years ago. Was £60k when we spoke on the 'phone and then when I saw it and we started to talk money it went up to £90k! Naturally I declined.
That is a different car at Hendon way...last time I saw it, the car had less miles, RSR bodykit and comfort non bucket seats, different no plate, quite a lot to to change?.....sale/return, does it exist, £100k+ now???? [:D]

I've got piccies of N5 RSR back in 03 when a guy from Preston owned it. IRC called Sean? Looked very tasty then! Think he was the second owner? Graham

Saw Pauls papers last week, the redoutable Mr Paul Howells was no 2 , Sean was the Guy from ur part of the world .............little further down the line .

Yes, Vic's correct, a gentleman by the name of Sean Conboy. It still looks tasty today thanks to the care of owners like Sean.

Vic / Paul, you are both wrong, it is 200 yrds up the road from me (I helped my mate buy it) and about 20 miles from Paul H. It is mint, going great guns and has been at Castle Combe, Goodwood and Donnington so far this year and will be at Goodwood on the 19th July cos I booked it on :)

BTW does anyone know if it has had any engine tuning, maybe a Schofield remap? It has cargraphic 100 cell cats and goes like stink, we haven't dynoe'd it but I can't pull away from it in my billet headed beast on the straight so it must be around the 320bhp mark at least (taking into account weight difference)

Was that you at Donington on Sunday the 8th June chasing me down the straight ? If so then you seemed to be on a par with my 325 bhp ( dyno'd at Wayne Schofield's).[;)]

Hi Matt, Yep we were both at Donington on Sunday, what a great day, apart from the enforced wait at the start, but at least the second group cleaned all the oil and cement dust off the track in time for the third group to go out [:D] I was in the midnight blue carerra 2 reg no 11 JMS, std body, not at all std 3.6 NVR, the 993 RS is owned by my friend and has reg 2 AJS, also midnight blue. Could have been either or both of us, prob me as there was one 964 RS who was very on the pace [:D] I thought his car was prob about that level of BHP, what colour is your 964?.

Blimey Vic, it turns out we're both wrong. Maybe I don't own it after all. Seems real enough though. Had a great drive out the other day to meet Nigel Mitchell and chat 993 RS. We both looked over what I thought was my car during a very fine pub lunch. He seemed to think it wasn't a figment of my imagination. I'm going back into the garage, just to check, see if I dreamt all this. [;)]

Thanks Vic, that explains the confusion. I didn't realise they were so common. I'll make certain I've found the right car in the supermarket car park in future. It seems if you want something more exclusiive you need a 993 GT2 CS in Blood Orange. [;)]

ORIGINAL: Ferry Man
ORIGINAL: 964RS Of course - we know that the captain always sits in the left hand seat.
Oh, Good Lord, not on this forum too. I get enough of that on DDK thanks. [] [;)] I prefer my cars compromised. [:)]
Jeez - how many times do I try to get in on the wrong side!? [;)]

Hi Clubsport,JC car had a nice painted cage installed to his normal standard.Yes we do seem to have ened up with similar cars,we just have good taste in cars, fine watches & wine! Nice to meet you ferryman, only kidding about thrashing it,i have race cars to do that in.

ORIGINAL: 65 mat The car that was on my tail had the N** RSR reg. Must be someone else on here.
Matt I was at the Donington PCGB track day last Sunday lapping in my Midnight Blue 993 RS with the registration N10 RSL. My car looks just like Ferry Man's as it has the standard wing package and Recaros. I thought the Donington track day was great fun.

N10 another one in the RSR Batch ...i had M33 and someones else had M333...........it just goes on !

I was there in my black 993 rs reg N55 RSR. It has yellow seat backs and seat belts. I think it may have been me ;)

Ah yes it was you Julian. Sorry for confusing the colour of your car...rather silly of me considering I used to own a Midnight Blue 993[&:]. Your car looks stunning by the way! Is it all standard if you don't mind me asking? Next time I will make an effort to say hello. Regards, Matt.

Hi, yes we should have a chat next time. It is standard except for cargraphic race cats and their quiet TUV rear boxes (hence no noise problems). I haven't had a chance to get it remapped yet though by Wayne. Seems like I was a bit unoriginal with my choice of number plate though!

When I sold my car the dealer removed the cage and fitted new carpets for the owner. Vic is correct it did go through Pink Pig quite recently. Whilst I'd concur with your comments on cars and watches Paul, you've never seen me quaffing Blue Nunn!
