JC Im sure i saw you drinking blue nun by the litre glass.
I had the cargraphic exhausts/headers fitted by Tech 9 along with a remap shortly after I bought it. I had the car around 3 years and it also went to Ninemeister for the camshaft pulley modification and made around 320bhp on their dyno. Also had a single mass flywheel (back in the days when it was still under Porsche warranty). Were you the chap I spoke to at Spa last year that was driving it? Cheers JohnORIGINAL: jmspear Pressing, your car is the midnight blue RHD RS I was talking about. It was bought from Pink Pig, just over twelve months ago, used to have a cage which was taken out before we bought it and it has had new carpets. BTW it was in mint condition, flew through PPI with Tognola with no issues at all, has had no work done it since (Pete T really rates its condition and wanted first refusal if it were ever to come up for sale - fat chance) and it runs like a dream It has cargraphic cats and exhaust, did you have it remapped or any other engine work done on it and do you know how much BHP it was pushing out? Interested as it seems pretty damn quick (quicker than other RS's) and on a par with my billet headed 993 car and Pete Tognola's remapped CS which I believe is at around ~320 horses. Thanks John P.S. It now lives in Gloucestershire not W Sussex, and is also often lost in car parks amongst all the other RHD Midnight Blue RS's that seem to be around ;-) Common as muck and that is just the driver!!!!
Hi John It may have been the year before at Spa. It was definately my old car as I had a chat with the owner and he remembered my name from the log book. Had a three letter private plate with a '1' from memory. Maybe it was the previous owner to your pal? Cheers JohnORIGINAL: jmspear Hi John, very strange, the car is not actually mine but my very good friend who lives next door! We are both car nuts and I helped him buy it and get it serviced for him and we do track days together. It has definitely not been to Spa since he bought it which was around Easter time last year if my memory serves me well (might have been earlier) makes me wonder if it was your car? I presume so since it was bought from Pink Pig, is midnight blue, RHD, had a cage which was removed before we bought it (we didn't see the cage) and has exactly the mods you describe (Cargraphic exhausts, single mass flywheel and pulls as if it has 320BHP). Maybe Pink Pig man took it to Spa? My friend put his personal plates on pretty soon after he bought it (they do not have RSR in the number, makes it easier to spot in the car park []). Mike, I will pass on your request to Andy and get him to email you via the site. He is a PCGB member. Cheers John
In the photograph you can't really tell the impressive speed I was going at, the way you've used such a fast shutter speed makes it seem as if the car is hardly moving. [ORIGINAL: Nigel Mitchell my poor photography doesn't do it justice
I have to say the seats are pretty comfy considering and can easily accommodate my very slight 6' 4" frame.[8|] The problem is that when wearing a helmet I'm robbed of a couple of inches of headroom. However, I discovered the leather seat pad is simply velcro'd in, so pull it off and sit directly on the webbing and my head's not wedged firm against the roof. [ORIGINAL: Nigel Mitchell whether the seat can be lowered a little to accommodate your height without taking the seat pads out.
Really, what, like shortening your legs? or worse?ORIGINAL: vic cohen after that ur into some major surgery which AFN do
