Modern Car event at Gaydon 17/05/09

Many thanks for a great day out despite the weather! Gaydon is certainly a great venue and provided an interesting addition to the usual excellent drive and lunch (as well as some much-needed shelter!)

PS Have a great time at Poole and fingers crossed for some nice weather! We're off to the Manx Rally over that weekend so we'll also be making sacrifices to the Sun God!

Thanks to all the organisers for your efforts.

It was a shame you couldn't control the weather but the 4x4 experience in the Land Rover was quite something as a result of the rain; let's just say that HMC's driver (Peter) wasn't quite as cautious with the LR as was the Cayenne driver with river water splashing over the roof in certain places ! My son and his friend loved it and it looks like we have found a new way to spend all our surplus (!?) money so thanks for that...

It was such a shame that the weather curbed the day slightly for us all.[&:] but I think we do well to keep our spirits us considering the weather overall.

Thanks for excellent day again, we really enjoyed the drive and think those maps you did were amazing, so easy to follow love it!!!

Hopefully next time you will have a splash of orange in your rear view mirrors!!!!!
