My Turbo might be for sale!

ORIGINAL: Peter Empson

Me like [:D]
I think I may have drooled over this car when it was at RPM (sorry).
I think the wheels really make it stand out. You have a double garage, I can't see any reason not to keep both the 964 and 944T :ROFLMAO:

Unfortunately not my gaff, although I can get 2 cars nose to tail in the garage chez moi...[8|]

Need the cash, I'm afraid

Plan for the 964 is lightweight (RS) interior with Recaro buckets, brake scoops in place of driving lamps, big reds and 4 pot rear calipers, initially a rechip and intake mods (280-290bhp) and then eventually (ie in 10yrs time!) bolt on a supercharger!

It needs a top end rebuild, so it will be heading to Unit 11 in the next couple of weeks for that to be done, so I should end up with a C2 with new'ish paint, clutch, brakes & suspension plus a fresh engine, just in time to drive it through the summer [:D]

Now, just got to sell 944...[;)]

I have someone coming to look at the car on Tuesday evening, so this might be the last sunny weekend I have to drive the car...[8|]

Best go for a drive then![;)][:D]

...and she's sold, to a really nice guy and I just know they'll be very happy together!

He's also got a really nice Lux to sell now, with Koni suspension and various other tweaks - cover your ears Scotty...[8|][:D]

Wow, so between you and Paul that's two of the nicest turbo's around sold. Please keep in touch and let us know how you're getting on with your new toys!

Well done Nick. From thinking about it to sold in under 2 weeks is good going.

Hope you enjoy your new red beastie as much as this one [:)]

God Nick that was quick !

Well done bud, enjoy the new toy. Keep in touch, I'll have to pop over and take a look soon once you've got the rebuild done etc.

Well, I know I'm going to miss it and even as we were out on the test drive and the boost came in, I was having second thoughts!

Deposit paid but car won't be collected until beginning of July, so I can still admire it in the meantime[8|]

You're more than welcome - need to see how your bodywork is progressing too!

Short answe to that is slowly at the moment Nick haha, I'm concentrating more on building the garage it will live in than getting on with the repair work. It'll start progressing much better very soon tho [;)]

Thanks Scott, I have no intention of disappearing off this forum (alongside the Westfield forum) as it is one of the best out there, a great place to banter and I`ve enjoyed my time on it.

When I finally get the Golf track ready I`ll turn up (if y`all dont mind) and follow you all around a track or two [:D]

Great to hear the car sold quickly for you - not too many people are in the market
for buying kit the last while.

Just goes to show, there's always a buyer for a well looked after piece of machinery.

Good luck with your new toy - it's lovely looking girl!
